I miss when they made this kind of music, their new stuff is pretty good, but lets face it, is power metal and there are a million bands doing power metal, and that makes it sound generic.

I miss songs like this, Face to Face, or a Little look back, and I got slightly disappointed when I didnt find anything that remotely resembles that sound in the new albums, I wish they went back to their roots.

And a good example of something that gets better and better with the new stuff is Ayreon.

It's so rare that you actually find a band where their old stuff is at least as good if not better than their new stuff. I think I like the old stuff a little better (slightly), though I'm normally a symphonic metal fan. The 80s style just suits them. Lol.

OK, I need opinions. Can I get away with using my current stage name as it is spelt differently or am I in trouble? Bearing in mind, I've been using this name for 3 years, I've tried so hard to think up decent alternatives and failed and it's not the same name. The only similarity is in sound. This song was made in 1989 and the video too..so a lot of bands in these times looked a little bit ..öh..strange;-)) if you compare it with today.

I think AXXIS today are totally different...new members, a female singer, more powermetal stuff,more orchestra sounds etc...
