if you have a SCSI hard disk, and if the drivers for the SCSI hard disk are not installed properly, or if they are somehow got corrupted, you see such an error. Try to reinstall the drivers for your hard disk

Hi guys i have a BADDDD problem, i was on the internet the other day on youtube, and when i was wanting to check my messages, some porn randomly popped up and i tryied to close it but it wouldnt close, then it started to download onto my computer and i quickly turned off my computer. but guess what when i turned my computer on the freaking screen was frozen i cant click on anything or do anything nothing works not even AVG or anything i click will start up, how do i fix this?

I think its removed from my computer but there is a problem. There is no wallpaper and it is completely blank. In 'properties' there is no 'wallpaper' and 'desktop'. Well, all I need is wallpaper so now I can't change my wallpaper. CAn anyone help? Much appreciated! :)

I tried all the virus programs they didn't work. The only way it got off of my computer was just to system restore,I know it is drastic, but it works. Just click start- all programs- accessories- system tools- system restore.

But however that stupid virus added a restore point onto my computer that would still make me have the virus- so I had to go to search- all files and folders- look under file drives c&d- then type in system restore- then delete the one which was modified most recently.

everytime i try to download the malware, spybot or avg, my pc does not let me. it just says something along the lines of the setup is corrupted or it doesnt have the right win32 - something like that. PLEASE HELP as i cant download any removal software.

If you have a friend who has an external drive (connected with an usb), get them to download these .exe files, then connect their external hard drive to your computer, click on "start" then click on the "my computer" icon, then click on the external drive's icon. Find the icon for the .exe file(s) and drag & drop them onto your desktop.

Anybody who gets XP Antivirus 2008 is a bonehead. No, it didn't "install itself" somebody clicked ok. Why would you click ok for fake codecs if you already have WMP/Flash/QTime installed?

Like Mariodvm said, malwarebytse is a life saver, it did the same for me, snagged 29 files that nothing else could find, but just to let yall know, the virus seems to have different versions of itself...with different names for the infections in the processes and program files, also seems to have different sideaffects..but try malwarebytse! it owns :P

it happens if any of the processes of the virus are still running on the computer. For that you will have to open task manager, locate and end the processes, or disable the program from the startup and restart , then try to delete the folders. It will be helpful if you can boot in safe mode.

If Spybot - Search & Destroy doesn't work for you. Then try Malwarebyter' Anti-malware.

Spybot didn't work for me, Malware did the trick and got around 30 infected files by Antivirus xp 2008. Malware removed them, restarted the computer and the virus was gone ;)

you can enable taskmanager by using free tools such as RRT (remove restrictions tool) from sergiwa(dot)com

the task manager was disabled from the registry ... you could fix it from there. But to get access to a process or file that is used you can always use file folder unlocker. It's easyer then going through the registry :P

I know you probably solved your problem by now ... but just in case for future problems like this (or for any kase in wich you want to delete a file being used by a process)

the problem i have is that i cannot end process to the "service.exe" on the task manager. I always get the message saying"cannot end process" i tried doing this also in safe mode, no sucess

you can not end legitimate process which belongs to the windows, so leave it alone.

and if you want to make sure the viruses have not infected it, then open command prompt

type

sfc /scannow

press enter

it will prompt you to insert windows recovery disk, do so, and wait till it completes. That will scan and replace if any corrupt windows system files are found

ahh dw man. I got rid of it just then it was on my tool bar. Another video on utube were you go to right click near the clok on ur tool bar and go to task manager and delete it from there, then delete it on programe files, delete from recyclying bin and restart...problem fixed

you can use the manual removal method

1) disable the programs entry from windows startup

2) then delete the folder created by the program

3) run ccleaner (run cleaner and registry menus)

I would suggest to reinstall windows, if you doubt that your computer is still infected. Undetected infection is not a good thing to keep on the computer
