If you don't understand him or he is too fast, just repeat that part for a couple times. But DON'T BE angry just becouse he wanted to help others!

mine does that as well, what you need to do is go onto mask mode, then use the paint bucket tool, then use the rubber on the parts you want to turn into a blast, but make sure you lower the hardness of the rubber, then click on the mask button again and it should have the area selected

hey i need help.. in begin when i use quick mas mode to mark the blast place and then press Q and then Filter > Render > clouds, in my picture all picture has been clouds but not that place where i mark... plz help..

The same thing happens to me.. I just dont get it.. :\ So I kinda.. Use the lasso tool.. To make a shape like that.. And then filter it with the cloud thing... But then after that I get stuck man what to do? I need the same video which is a bit slower like step by step you know.. :( I really need I have to get an edit like this... there is much simpler way open your picture create a new layer get the brush make a simple dot select the smudge tool and smudge it a little bit then create another new layer add smaller dots around the bigger one then smudge them then just add colour i didnt explain it will if you want me to explain better PM me

ok i have 2 problems. 1st, when i do the quick mask, it doesnt select what i highlight, it selects the rest of the picture. An the 2nd thing is i know this is kinda stupid but i cant find the colorize box. Im on CS3 if that makes a difference please help

if u have problems with selection, try selecting it and click on the marquee tool (spelling?)

right click on the select and hit select inverse

it should select every OTHER than what u just had selected

a write tutorial??? Writing is easy... u write on a new layer, and then if u wanna turn THAT into a layer... I forgot the easier way to do it, but I just make another new blank layer and merge them together.

definitely not cuz it took hellaz long to make... just google adobe photoshop tutorials, search for QUICK MASK, LINEAR DODGE, and CLOUDS... n SMUDGE unless u kno the tools, but yeah knowing all those is pretty much how to do it.

That was because I merged the white layer onto the FULL black layer and then I linear dodged it. If I would have just linear dodged the white drawing it wouldnt look as bright or... cool.

before u fill with clouds do CTRL+SHIFT+I cuz I have my quick mask to where the area I PAINT IS THE SELECTED REGION, the default is where it selects everywhere I don't paint. To change it just double click one of the quick mask icons.

depends is it PART of the picture or on a seperate layer or does it seem like the program is messing up, if it's another layer, erase it, if it's part of the picture, u might have to retake the shot or use the stamp tool, and if it's a program glitch, save what u got with CTRL+S and reboot the PROGRAM
