    -SOPA Dickwads

  • but, the cake is a lie...

  • Aww The Cake Got Soggy.

  • can anyone say, i want one of those machines.

  • Came got set :O

  • You have a industrial powered waterjet based cutting machine capable of cutting through even the strongest metals... and you use it to cut a cake.

    You win.

  • Dont try this at home?

    what cut cake?

  • 0:00

  • i bet my $1.00 water gun can cut the cake lol

  • :D

  • Hey, do you guys use sand mixed with the water for cutting metals? Or is it just pure water pressure?

  • Was that cake edible after cutting?

  • @p13m4n - Yes, the cake was still edible (it was cut with water - no abrasive).

  • Or you use a knife...

  • water can cut EVERYTHING! :/

  • This is real but water can't cut Steel Knife or Laptop *LOL*

How big is power what you are using to cut things! :D

  • @keulijapoika - The waterjet pressure is either 60k or 87k, depending on item being cut. For cake (and other soft food items), the pressure is generally set lower (60k).

  • ew

    wet cake

  • Im gonna try this at home, and theres nothing you can do about it :)

  • love the way the say 'can water cut it'

  • But i thought it was a lie?

  • wet cake lol

  • I'm noticing, especially with this video, that the "beam" of water spreads, so the sides aren't perpendicular to the surface. How would you solve this if you needed something precision cut?

  • @krap101 - You’re right the stream of water does fan out – Flow has a patented process called “Dynamic Waterjet” that tilts the up to ten degrees to compensate for the angle which is called taper. The head tilts making the part side perpendicular and the scrap side will have all the taper. Flow waterjets with Dynamic technology are high precision, capable of +/- .0015”.

  • can i get one lets say maybe like walmart

  • Well...at least it's more precise but the cake got wet :|

  • Lol this is fake. NOTHING can defeat cake.

  • The cake is a lie!

  • I hope the waterjet uses fresh water for each run...

  • Isn't that gonna make it soggy? lol

  • Flowman, your awesome!

  • LOL that one was actually hilarious.

  • @BeeRich33 Thanks! It was fun to make.

  • How the hell are we going to try this at home?? xDD

Why don't you try with a 3,5" hard drive? It will be interesting ;)
