Amanda was an irritating addition to the Carrington clan. They were obviously trying to replace Fallon with another daughter but boring, whiny Amanda was no substitute.

Do the math u guys......Alexis and Roger Grimes had an affair because Alexis was being neglected by Blake. The affair lasted right up until Rogers death by Fallon and Alexis was very swiftly cast out by Blake. Amanda was born months later while Alexis lived in Europe.

Was Roger Grimes ever considered a possible father of Amanda?

Dynasty was at its best when it kept its character count to about 9-10 stars on the show. The sooner they added more and more stars on the titles,that's when they ran into trouble..too many characters in the show.

Creepy CREEPY coincidence....at 4:50, when Amanda says that she thinks Alexis wont want to see her, the music in the background is almost exactly the same as when Pam first woke up at the end of the "Dream Season" on Dallas in 1986. Think about it, both the character who was talking during the music and Pam waking up would be involved in what some say was when each show "jumped the shark" (ie: Moldavia and the dream). Look up Pam waking up and you will see what I'm talking about!

Crystal is disgusting here. Any ale, wine, beer or other similar drinks are very harmful & dangerous. Even a sip could prove to give a baby FAS. I have worked with so many children with FAS & it's so sad that most of them will have diminished capacity for the rest of their lives. Therefore NO drinking when pregnant is a must! A sort bit of "fun" for the mum is not worth destroying a life.

I was completely smitten with Catherine Oxenberg . She was perfectly cast as the gracefull , aristocratic even , Amanda Bedford Carrington .

I was so angry when she got replaced by Karen Cellini . The actress herself couldn't help it , but she had very big shoes to fill . It didn't help either that by saison 7 the scripts became utterly absurd and the part of Amanda was so small You hardly noticed her . Apparently the producers choose Karen for her resemblance to Catherine ... As if !!!
