Considering most all websites cap downloads at 500 KB/s along with many other websites and file hosts, so this is pretty much impractical for the general internet download, although for usage, such as internet browsing, it is very useful for people with slow internet (no offense)

Is your routers default gateway the primary DNS server even if your primary DNS is set as something else on the router and PC?

It said my current primary DNS was fastest and that matched my router's default gateway, does this mean in my router settings where it says primary DNS server I should put the recommended secondary server from the programme as the primary, and the secondary server as the tertiary server?

Now the reason it's good to run different scans when your network gets bogged down is bc it will give you a different dns server address and it will know your bogged down with the dns server address you had, but plz, clear the dns server address before each scan to avoid infinite loops...

Let me give everyone some good advise here ok?, I WARDRIVE on business routers and sometimes the network can be 'bogged' down and make the internet kinda slow, if this is what you do also; my suggestion is to clear your dns server address you have "BEFORE" you do another namebench scan, the reason for this is bc when namebench runs another scan when you already have a dns server address, it will do an infinite loop....ok.

Ok but it is only to improve the "name resolution" process right? once your PC connects to the server and start downloading the webpage I suppose it gets the same downloading speed that you had before right?
