@iliveforhaaardstyles youre wrong. rendering in a lower quality on youtube also limits bitrate because it uses less bandwidth to use a lower frequency bitrate, watching a video in hd resolutions comes along with the perks of the 128, 256, and 512 bitrates, hence higher quality audio...

@Capilee if the original video that was uploaded has impeccable video quality and garbage audio the a higher rez will just be a better picture quality. i've watched some vids at 360p and 480p with superb audio because the uploaded video sacrificed video quality for better audio usually because it's just a still picture. you can't improve on whats not there unless you remake the video and upload it yourself

@ebent24 I dont think you realize what im saying... im saying that if there is a high bitrate available on the uploaded content, it gets degraded or converted down to a lower bitrate along with the resolution (thus lower audio quality)

(say i were to upload a file in 720p with a bitrate of 256kb/s on the audio sample, youtube would make a 480p version with 256bit audio, a 360p version with 128bit audio, and a 240p with 64bit audio.)
