Looking at the 141 prefight vids I was thinking that Overeem would simply humble Brock again ala Cain. But I went and viewed the overeem werdum fight and was not very impressed with overeem. he had many missed oportunities to tee of with punches or knees goin in and out of the clinch. Also did not exact much penelty for werdum diving in wreckless to attempt take downs. Reems take down defense was good, but I think he will quickly be taken down and pounded by brock.

I think the lost with cain, finally make him realise something, I mean the lost with frank, frank is a overrated fighter, but he was no match for brock, brock knew that came back beat frank the second fight. But losing to cain, made him realise, he ain't as good as he think he is. That lost was like an awakening for him, most of his fan left him. Part of him tell me, that he unsure if this what he want to do. When your the feel like your on top, and that come crushing down. Hard to swallow.

Yes my opinion is that Brock is a great champion. I would pay to train with him at his Farm. The level of wrestling he has is amazing and after all the bad experiences he had to live he has become more humble and respectful. Brock with a little more jujitsu and stand up would be more dangerous.

Looking at the 141 prefight vids I was thinking that Overeem would simply humble Brock again ala Cain. But I went and viewed the overeem werdum fight and was not very impressed with overeem. he had many missed oportunities to tee of with punches or knees goin in and out of the clinch. Also did not exact much penelty for werdum diving in wreckless to attempt take downs. Reems take down defense was good, but I think he will quickly be taken down and pounded by brock.

@lamaquina570 No way. IMO there in the same ballpark with skill, Berry has better leg kicks, faster and is more flexible but Overeem is better overall and more effective especially with that reach.

@lamaquina570 Yeah I get your point, I guess we as fans tend to go based on accomplishments and Overeem has clearly been more successful. But I totally agree about Pats head movement and footwork, although he's a smaller (shorter) guy so he had to be strong in those areas to compete, Look at any big guy, most dont have great footwork because they've rarely been forced to use it. I met Pat Berry earlier this year, as nice as advertised.

Holland has some of the best kickboxers ever and that's where Pat Berry actually got most of his skills when he was in Holland for 3-4 years. Im not saying there's a huge difference, but the other guy said Berry was 1000 times better, which is clearly off. I just think and alot of others think Overeem is a bit better

Overeem is underestimating Brock's wrestling and power. I'm a big Overeem fan, but this fight can go either way. Brock's strategy will simply be to wear down Overeem either on the ground or up against the fence, then try a submission. There is no way Brock will stand and strike with Overeem.

@MontanezMafiaz For sure he is, because e was able to go to K1 elimination round once, but he didn't succeed. In mma you don't have the top strikers, not even in UFC. Alistair is much better than Pat Barry. Barry would'nt last a round with him, neither with the last guys Overeem defeated in K1. I´m talking about Tyron Spong, Gokan Saki and Peter Aerts.

I like Brock and will be rooting for him, but I just don't think he can take the punch, and that is what Overeem does best. He should have never left WWE, in my opinion. That was his true calling, but he chose to abandon it. I am betting he will quit UFC as well if he loses this fight.
