  • I'd say before we make Gundams, we would first make more easy-to-use Mass Production suits like GM's Zaku's, and those HRL Machines (I think their called Tierans and Anfs). If Mobile Suit Warfare does someday come to reality, it will probably end up something like the 08th MS Team.

  • @117Jorn dude ikr hell if i had a gundam i whould be called the God Of Death= Gundam DeathScythe

  • The only reason why we have never set out to create humanized mechanical robots for war is because giant robots work with Japan's cultural history but don't translate anywhere else. Japan's inspiration for many of it's giant mecha and monster fascinations come from wwii, like Gigantor (which is a representation for Japan's desperate hope in the final parts of the war). America doesn't have that need for giant robots, so we've never considered it however a metal gear sounds much more likely.

  • Why 00, You should've used The 08 MS team

  • have u ever played Ring of Red i think the first mech will be like slow moving battle tanks with legs

  • if Gundam operate only in space....it might be possible

  • Possible to make real Weapons like Gundam..but :

    1. What materials we use ? Steel? it can't fly with small thruster

    2. What kind of energy we use ? what kind of battrey we use ?

    3. The Cost of the production

  • I think gundams are possible but they will not be as high mobilitied as lets say Gundam Exia. And plus beams rifles and beam sabers are almost impossible

  • despite being weapons of war can a gundam & other mobile suits be used for something else?

like new types for example they used as weapons of war but lalah sune said new types weren't meant to be used for war so what is the purpose for the new types

  • give me more gundam science like minovski fusion physics (H3). can minovski particles be made there is a physics behind it so (emperors voice) "can it be done"?

  • the only reason for making them would be wars in space or somehting after we built colonies or something.....

i am sure that goverments have already made research on "gundams" but not with the name gundams-mobile suits but thye just find them useless since they have weapons that can do more damage than a gundam the only reason for a gundam to excist would be mass destruction ( a gundam equiped with nuclear warheads - lassers(under development until now)

  • also thing of its armor because piloting one like in gundma series is impossible so probably the gundam would take many hits so how much the nanocarbon will hold 1000 rpgs and missiles ?? noooooooo

  • nc research but think that we solve all problems and mass produce them then it the end opf the world think one of them getting blown up in a war the energy that it uses will become an explosion huger then a nuke........ also think of the weapons it will carry dont even think beam sabers.... now bazoukas and rpg style weapons would be uselees since if the military wants to destroy something it can use missiles also a huge machine gun would be meaningless ... so what the perpose of the gundam???

  • uh, antimatter isn't the smartest choice for energy generation. That stuff, even in small quantities, is several times stronger than a nuke (atomic bomb). If that stuff leaked from a controlled environment, your hard earned work, yourself, and everything around you is going to disappear.

An ultra compact battery would be a better idea.

  • the name gundam rite.. all the others mechs in the series were referred to as mobile suits gundams they were big most rolled like tanks, big heavy lots of weapons, slow but gundams were not classed anywhere near this cuz the speed and armor they had. way stronger alloy less than half the weight of mobile suits. in 1:12 of the vid u said F=ma then explained why this would be the reason gundams would not function, mobile suits, for the simple fact of gundanium alloy it throws off ur whole thesis

  • easier to just make a power armor or exoskeleton that makes us twice to 3 times our size besides building a 52ft tall robot

  • a gundam is possible but lets be realistic wont move as fast as a gundam probably not even a guntank lol but move yess fast no :(

  • in the time it took you to make this video, you could have gone down to the mall and bought a microphone.

    just sayin

  • I will point out, these may be a play thing at first, but some asshole always comes round to make it a weapon, so expect it to kill more people than the amount it could EVER* save.

    P.S I have a custom gundam I am working on myself ^///<

  • Irl Zakus are possible, Gundams are not.

  • I'll take strike freedom, with a twin drive systems, and trans am.....

  • if you're going to make us watch all the damn reading then your stupid. You need to put the reading in the description. and not so fucking long/

  • Look to the series 'Patlabor' or 'Ingram' for a very realistic look into how mecha may come into play and how human life will change around them.

  • Gundams? not in 100 years.

stuff like Scopedogs (Armored Trooper Votoms) or Labors (Patlabor) maybe in a few decenia.

  • well, it is possible 2 make actual robots. Gundams, not so much, gundams are more advanced and more better. But they may be able 2 make 4 legged things, in 40 years. But now that mankind is improving it has a higher rate of creating a mobile suit. Perhaps they will be able 2make humonoid, than actual 1s as seen on the tv shows.

  • china: ha bitch look wat weve got

america: meh well have 2,000 of them by next week

  • good video but bad physics

  • and of course, this is still completely missing the point that warfare of the future with not even be conducted with conventional weaponry. It'll be mostly electronic. A big stupid robot won't be very useful when some NSA hacker simply turns it off remotely. What i know from being around defense contractors is that more defense money is spent on anti-hacking measures, and satellite security than anything else. The future warrioes are fat guys at computer terminals.

  • @omegapez1 unless the movement system is completely cut of a EMP might shut it down but at least a hacker won't get in.

  • i think a better question than "is it possible" would be why bother? The real reason defense contractors don't devote billions into trying to develop giant robots is because THEY DONT DO ANYTHING USEFUL. There is no advantage to having a robot with a giant sword, that a small well designed gun can't afford you for a tiny fraction of the price. Why have a robot, when you can send a smart bomb to do the same job, faster, and logistically easier? All physics aside, there's no good reason for it.

  • Something else that wasn't mentioned is, if to say, the actual Gundams are built to function just like the ones shown in Mobile Fighter G Gundam. How could they be programmed to follow your body movements?

  • the day mobile suits are invented is the day we are all in trouble

  • Armor materials differ from different shows.

UC Timeline/ Zaku, steel alloy/ GM, titanium alloy/ Gundam, luna titanium, metal later renamed Gundarium/ Gundam Wing Gundams, Gundanium alloy/ G Gundam, Gundarium/ Gundam seed, Phase Shift Armor...... The list goes on

  • @withgemini these are impervious to such problems as modern day weapons present to them. YlThat is to say...if you wanted to use a basically indestructable metal like Gundanium. 1 gundam = 50 tanks in terms of effectiveness and sheer firepower/strength. They are the ultimate weapon for destruction.

  • 60 foot walking targets. The military would not create something that is hard to hide, transport, and easy to hit. Once more, something like this would be a logistics nigntmare to repair and supply. Their cost to maintain would out weigh their strategic value. That money would be best used for resarch in better soldiers, airpower, artillory, and drones.

  • I want Wing Zero to protect everybody

  • @heavy12Arms lol well if u go off endless waltz details finding a pilot to handle wings zeros system would be next to impossible. and a gundam is only a gundam from the rare gundanium alloy they were made from. if i wan the lotto id be broke cuz id spend it all trying to make wing zero real lmao

  • lol if they want to make gundams in real life like the ones u see in animes that manuevers like crazy impossible good luck, but if they make one of those big sluggish ones then it might be possible -.-

  • @SouljaStickMan currently, no. they can't make one to that degree of performance. but they could make a gundam yes. You won't have any beam sabers or laser rifles, but some of the original gundams ( BESIDES THE BEAMSABERS) only had giant knives and machine guns.

  • @xRaalx no not gundams i was talking about mobile suits, like the brown old sluggish ones from gundam 00 with just a big cannon gun thing

  • you havnt seen the US's new military humanoid robot

  • I will be running around as master chief in Mjolnir decades before you climb inside that fkin Gundam dude. also I have read a few things about the fusion cell power cores. they are developing one in germany that works non pulsed. that means it doesnt need huge magnets to stabilize the plasma and it doe not need to be switched off and on with a customised frequency as the classic ITER model in france does. The americans are developing a cristaline fusion cell ... dont ask me how the fuk that work

  • @USEYAHOO ITER will be bigger then a 6 floor building but the german model I read about is as tall as a human and has a special shape to propel the plasma on its own using weaker magnets thus operating at far less input energy and reducing the use of coolant. although they still need to find ways to keep the plasma clean and sustain a constant output of energy the concept behind a constant plasmaflow is in my oppinion fantastic. fuck expensive ITER.

  • music name please?

  • Possible if we build them to human size as exo suits. We already have technology that can support that scale. Think of it as customized power armor instead of a 20something foot tall machine that will require a nuclear reactor to power it.

  • Only mechs ever going to be possible are maybe mech warrior types or chrome hounds. And I think they would be used mostly as mobile weapons platforms. But shoot who knows what will be possible once we are a space faring civilization, and I mean true space faring race where millions live in space and commute around space. I wish I could see the video games a thousand years from now if man exists. Probably be like the matrix.

  • robotech suits are actually more realism. lol

  • Maybe if it was aluminum Just a light based model to base all other projects on

  • Before thinking to do a gundam, it seems to me that we should first try to make only a mobile suit that can walk and fly on small distances, and a more important thing : that could be useful for somthing else than just war !

  • If you can't make a Gundam, make a Zaku!

(They have bigger feet and much lower expectations for these impossible standards the gundam's have.)

  • I can understand the explanations but why would several countries want to band together to create a war machine that probably only USA would get to use to control the rest of them?

  • Yes, look it up. Tomino originally designed Gundam around space combat, and with the normal rules of physics, his methods of building and using mobile suits is actually possible. I can't go into details...because I don't know much about space.

So Gundams and all sorts of mobile suits are a feasible design for the area for which they were designed to be for: space. The Colonies also make a bit of sense, do to being, you know, in space and all.

  • Something like a knightmare frame would be more practical size-wise. And it has wheels so it can move fast without trying to run which can be tricky to make a mech do.

  • I'm a really big fan of Gundam, but building a real Gundam for what? For war? Well I guess non of us today wants a war.

  • Militaries all around the world,America primarily, are already working on robotic suits(nowhere near the scale of a gundam),but more like Iron Man esque armor. They can triple strength and offer protection against gunfire. The trade off is that suits now are very slow and cumbersome.I don't think we'll have jet propelled,20 foot tall mobile suits for AT LEAST another 80 years or so....AND THEN WE CAN GIVE THE TERRORISTS OUR LOVE,OUR ANGER,AND ALL OF OUR SORROW! SHINING FINGER!!!

  • @wisewarriormuzic

And then somebody will sell some of the robots(russian tech in taliban hands?) to the terrorists and we'll have fun robot battles. ,)

  • @wisewarriormuzic NNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! (face gets destroyed)

  • If we can get ion engines like star wars has, a opposed to the fail ones we have as this time, we can get teh flying done. everything else could be done now. the cockpit/controls are can do right now. we can program an OS for it, the weapons, save for possibly the beam swords and laser guns can be done now. but other than those 3 things we could make a prototype now

  • First off how did you know two or three nuclear plants will be needed? Why not more lol. Second don't forget Gundams usually are shown in a future will space colonies. So they would have better technology than us to build these things. Plus I would assume Gundams were possibly built for repairs to the colonies and were weaponized later. Maybe we first need to make one for construction

  • para erradicar la guerra mediante el uso de la violencia.

    Para que el mundo cambie

  • Yea probably of little value militarily though, in what scenario could a walking giant robot possibly be useful?

  • 'Course they are possible, but its completely improbable that any government would invest in such a thing, most science fiction is based in somthing that exists, but we are not far from gundam style stuff, its just because in recent wars, ground and air specific military force has been most effective. a giant humanoid war bot would in the end be very useless and expensive to make.

  • heh may be true but there are many flaws

  • Who ever said it was impossible to make? If it's not magic then it's possible. But such weapons of war would only lead us closer to our demise as the human race. There is no creature on earth more powerful than the human race, therefore only a super disaster or our own foolishness could kill us all.

  • One thing I would like to know is if a real life gundam is created, how well would it perform in battles...

  • What about a scopedog from votoms is that possiable.

  • Apparently I read some article that japan was trying to make something like the "Funnel"

  • In the future Japan might pioneer in there things...

  • I was expecting space ships with combat ready grapler arms than a gundam sometime in the near future lol

  • Rx-79g was made from luna titanium so gundanium alloy really isn't needed

  • Food for thought guys.

    /watch?v=W1czBcnX1Ww

  • @sarimakbar

The real issue of trying to build a humanoid mecha it´s the fact of speed reaction, you will need to create a robot that can move minimum with the speed of a human being and alos that that kind of moving wouldn´t damage the robot parts.

  • On the earths surface an 18m tall humanoid machine would be near impossible with the current materials available to man, (atleast if you want it to stand AND be stronger than tin foil) it'd be just too heavy to move effectively under the earths gravity. The mechs seen in say Blue Gender are more feasible given there much smaller size, and the fact that they get around primarily with wheels located on their feet would eliminate the problem of trying to keep a giant bi-pedal robot from falling.

  • This video is super cool and informative, great work! BTW, what's the music at 4:05?

  • lets build a GN drive

  • The main problem you have with humanoid robotic tech is of course... MAINTENANCE! If you want prime examples of this, just go watch 08th MS Team. Sand... freaking SAND was able to disable a unit.

  • @GunplaProductions With ANYTHING mechanical, sand will destroy it! When the British Army (of whom I was a proud member) first sent our new Apache Longbow's to Afghanistan, we had to use womens stockings as improvised air-filters cos the issue ones couldn't cope!

  • @wasp27 Right and lets not even get started with the crap that we see in SEED. The people in charge of budgets would keel over.

  • There was a news in Japan that they were gonna build something similar to guntank because our technology isn't really advanced compared to Gundam timeline. It was canceled due to expense and not enough materials (like durable ones) for it withstand in a war.

  • Fancy space-faring tech aside I think we could make mobile suits possible alot sooner if we didn't add things like thrusters or anything like that.

  • I say if you make the gundam smaller than 60 feet. Maybe 20 feet. It would still get jobs done and have much more mobility. A huge 60 foot tall gundam wouldn't be that fast if you think about it.

  • cont'd. years. for. gundam(I guess)

  • But how about controlling? Gundams move just like humans do but it would be theoretically impossible to make manuevers like that with the simple use of Podracer(Star Wars)-type controls. It's not even shown in the anime in detail on how those Gundams move like that. Sure, psycho-frame would work but a device like that would take a couple hundred yearsto create. Same goes for the complicated interface that would probably be needed to control a Gundam. And beam sabers wold be impossible. wait. 300

  • I think Gundams are only somewhat practical if they are real space combat. I mean, on Earth, jets and tanks can do the job so much better. But in space, with a much larger battlefield, Gundams can be the replacement of your standard soldiers.

  • making it is not the problem but controlling it is

  • A japanese guy and his team are trying to do this right now, atm theyre building a 13ft tall one then to a 58ft tall life size gundam. Read it on popsci.

  • I know what to do. I shall go to a different dimension where real life Mobile Suits exist and steal one of them!!!

  • dammm i passed the age and it wont happen in my life time..if only i was 16 and i was training to be a pilot and a war breaks out and my country is getting owned. then i get caught in this super huge battle and i get to pilot the super pro gundam :D

  • wireless energy. even though nikola tesla technology been covered up it still excist.

  • GRAPHENE. 200 TIMES STRONGER THAN STEEL.

  • Gundam are not possible yet dude. We need gundanium metal lol or in real life, we will have to wait till we find minerals in other planets. if we can find a strong enough metal that's light then it's a done thing. that's the only problem now days. the size would be too big to work on earth. in space how ever...i'm sure a gundam's possible in everyway. even if it's sluggish. we could develop the gun cannons from 0079. I'm actually studying physics for this very reason. i'll make one...one day.

  • @MrViciousway How about a Zaku?

  • @MrViciousway ... Gundanium is only canon with one timeline.

  • @3dd656 Yup and you can tell the age of a Gundam fan if he only knows gundanium armor.

  • @MrViciousway That is why I am majoring in

     Electrical Engineering

  • What is the song that starts at 8:46?

  • The main reason why I like 00 Gundam is because they used "E-Carbon" (a carbon allotrope) as the construction material for the mobile suits and gundams, E-Carbon is more believable than metallic alloys.

  • of course its possible! well not this year but in a few years later! i just hope the dangerous countries like Korea,America, china,Russia,Iraq, and Germany doesn't use them first. but, japan made a life size model. but its just for show.

  • Comment removed

  • lol america, europe make a gundam and china, russia, saudi arabia make a gundam...which would win? a GIANT gundam with guns and swords would definitely destroy a tank or two before sustaining any sort of damage.

  • booooooooooooooooring

  • make a knightmare first or a gundam with wheels then think of the flying after mastering the earth!

  • Surely, some day it will be possible to build a giant mecha, but it will be useless to war, because it waste energy, shield and exposed surface. If a giant humanoid-mecha faces to a main battle tank, (both with the same technology, of course), the mecha is in disadvantage because it has large surface exposed, is heavyer, slower, and consumes exponentially more energy. the tank only needs energy to rotate a 5tn turret, while the mecha needs to move a 50tn arm! which is clearly inefficient.

  • Make Heavyarms it would be more practical we have most of it weapons already

  • Which series of Gundam is this and is it available in English?

  • @ImperialLegionTV It's Gundam 00 and it's been in English for some time, they even aired it all on the SciFi Channel a few years back! XD X3

  • Nah we should build the mobile fighters from G Gundam instead, just my opinion

  • if this will made, hire me as a pilot... XD

  • are we building gundam robots for World War 3?

  • We need to establish space colonies first before we can start mobile suit production...

  • I dread to think of the cost per unit of these things. If today's fighter planes costs tens of millions of dollars then mobile suits might be ten time or more expensive.

  • not possible. all they can do as of now in robotics are simple machines that help in manufacturing. also, earth does not have enough resources, let alone the energy powerful enough to make a million pound machine move

  • They have materials that are as light as air. the patent will pass soon. Technology like this will be easily possible, although expensive

  • Yes but not at this time with current science and technology. These things are stuff you would see 1000 years from now.

  • USA currently has laser and beam technology since they just recently built a dome that can shoot lasers. Apparently it's for anti-missile protection but could further be used for space combat. Also if we can find metal for the outside parts of the gundam then it's possible. As for the inner components we can use silicon for the main heating areas like thrusters and motors. Silicon is a weird metal that melts only if it's really cold, not if it's hot.

  • @xgmf11oa

On top of that, the OS system can be based on a humans neurological system. To generate a gundam, you don't need massive nuclear power. Just a small quantity will be able to power a gundam. If a water dam can power a more than 1 city, a small amount of nuclear energy can power a Gundam. Gundam's are heavy and moving one and controlling one is going to be difficult, but with the advancement of engineering and architecture, the interior designs can be easily be made.

  • @xgmf11oa The only real significant problems are: converting the nuclear energy into jet and booster fuel, also for a human to be able to control all the neurological patterns of a gundam (basically a human controlling a human with buttons and controls)realistically if you think about it, other than those two problems and the fact of the gundanium alloy for the armor, everything else is possible. If you're talking about cost, I think what costs more would be the carriers for the gundams.

  • A friend told me that scientists and/or engineers were saying how gundanium alloy could be possible to make. Unfortunately it is impossible at the time. Theoretically speaking, if we take allows from the earth and bring it close to the sun (like i said theoretically speaking), and be able to melt the alloy and and cool it down, then it would become gundanium alloy metal. But it's physically and merely impossible for us to reach or go near the sun.

  • @xgmf11oa

    interesting, didn't know that.

why not do the same thing in a fusion reactor. the reactor gets almost just as hot as the sun, i think.

  • @sarimakbar I don't need money, materials, scientists, etc. helping me make a Gundam because... I am GUNDAM. ;)

  • @sarimakbar The problem with that is extracting it, you could get it in but getting it out would be near impossible.

  • @sarimakbar

I would say Gundam Wing would cost a lot more than B-2.

  • @sarimakbar

the reactor gets even hotte than the sun.

while the sun is about 15.000.000°C hot, the reactor could go up to 100.000.000°C!

  • @sarimakbar what's the name of the song playing 2:37?

  • @xgmf11oa You mean what you want is a molecularly aligned alloy? It's been an ambition of scientists and engineers to make such an alloy and they're making strides. However the process is difficult. I don't think you need to move the Earth or anything though dude. Google "glassy metals" or glassy steel.

  • @xgmf11oa so says the gundam wiki lol

  • @xgmf11oa Not only that, well die from the excessive heat, plus a strong amount of radiation from sunlight rays will give us a bad amount of cancer, or worse, and if we send robots to do the job, they'll melt before they have a chance to cool the alloy.

  • @xgmf11oa That's not that futuristic, The surface of the sun is about 5,600 Celsius, Some arc welders can reach that temperature, And im sure can go MUCH farther with more energy so it wouldn't be too hard to make.

  • gundam is possible but the problem is money producing it,a special metal that it can withstand tanks and missiles and other weapons, then os so that the gundam can move?,and a power source that is capable of powering a thing as big as 6 storey building and its propulsion must be strong enough to fly as fast as supersonic jet....=)but i think our technology is far from it today but maybe 2020?just expressing my opinion....=)

  • Gundams can also be used for Peace instead of War like Celestial Being. I bet that some time in the next few hundred years, some group will be preforming Armed Interventions using a machine like the Gundam. I might even see to it myself. Also I thik a way to end the energy crisis on earth, it would be good to look into the Orbital Elevators.

  • @Keneen45 celestial is using it for piece....they end all source of wars....unlike thrones who destroy military bases but technically the throne units are not gundam cause they cause war like what setsuna said....

  • I think that Humankind should first develop and advance themselves into space before tackling a project like this. I, myself, am studying Astrophysics, Earth and Space Science, Chemistry, as well as looking into Technical Engineering and Architecture to be able to advance humankind into space. I am looking into ways that humanity can advance just like in the Gundam series, as New types, Coordinators or Innovators. And I believe that Space is the Ideal Location to develop Gundams.

  • A Gundam is able to be developed. But the technology will need to be studied more thoroughly. A mobile suit would take possible 100 years to fully develop a working model but they would be very tough to maneurver. The Mobile Suit would be stiff. To develop Gundams with greater maneuverability, it would take possible anothe 50 plus years to properly develop the more efficient. Also the Project would need hundreds, if not thousends of men to develop. Our Techology will have to advance as do we.

  • a Heavy Arms from Wing Gundam would be by far one of the best and most realistic to build ( doesnt have beam weaponry)

  • @WhiteIWolf for now 2012-2020? but beam technology is possible i just know it....cause bullet looks like deadweight in space....

  • I dont think the first MS would look like a Zaku, to be more realistic, I think it would look like a Tiere

  • @Korean242 i agree but for me a flag is more posiible....

  • @lockon02611 what do u see as the fundamental difference b/w gundams and flags. in terms of mechanics if u can build a flag u can build a gundam. this is my opinion correct me if im wrong

  • the problem with the joint effort thing is that a mobile suit would only has one fesible ues as a wmd and no country on earth right now would be willing to work on it if they were to not get it after words, so even if they made a ms it could even start a war over who gets to keep it and the designs for it, and if the collected nations of the world had the designs for it it could start a world-wide cold war and even WWIII

  • @Bkinged333 yes but gundams also make building construction faster not just bloeing things up....and also to advance through space and to walk to other planets with ease...

  • And to think we've anticipated flying cars to be reality..

  • Lets just plug it into an outlet for power simplicity its self.

  • i say we build one.

  • Most of the weapons are even sort of in today's world so the big thing would be the movements and the gundam its self.

  • if your talking right now the only ones that possibly could be made are like the Zakus. the other ones are way to advanced and in the end just don't see them.

  • okay... i don't know if anyone mentioned this, but what about the cockpit? seriously, we've all seen how the cockpit looks like and compared to the actions that the gundam preforms, i believe cockpit has several problems, i mean seriously, pushing a lever up can make a gundam perform a 360 spin and slice a robot in half... wtf.

so either we get the g-fighter cockpits or we seriously need to think about what the cockpit should look like...

  • Ok it is big = easy to shot, easy target for aircraft or artillery (spgs, +100 mm mortars and etc). This design is not usable in true war. Present war is about hiding, no shiny colors, no exposing or something like that, just hit and run away. It is hard to hide position of this monstrous stupid thing, very easy target for inteligence. Hard and expensive maintance ... imagine field repairs, this thing is out of reality. Nice for TV shows, worst for real usage.

  • @Borovickar That is exactly why Tomino was so pissed off at the toy company's request to sacrifice the realistic all-white painting of the Gundam for a shinier coloring - even if the Gundam itself in TV wouldn't possibly care since it is already powerful enough to kick multiple ass.

  • @Borovickar in the series are the minovsky particles, they jam coommunications and radars. That makes attacking a gundam with long range artillery and such difficult. Have you seen the last episode of msigloo 2? there you have the artilleries firing at gundams

On gundam the origin, we can see the explanation behind using MS. They say: "A tank can be used to opress infantery. Infantery can do multiple stuff. A misile can devatate an area. A MS can be used as tank, infantery, and even misile."

  • @tadzioizdat welcome to 21. century you dont need radar on gundams XD ... is Gundam able to shut down satelites? What jam of comunications??? Give me GPS or laser targeting beam kilometres away. Oh I forget find out some info about present amunition, there are pieces with camera for blind fire with adjustable trajectory by wings of ammo (STRIX), so no comunications just blind fire to area and if your Gundam is kilometres away that ammo will target it and go there with high speed.

  • @tadzioizdat or they jam infra - cameras too? :) I think not, there is plenty of similar systems with different way of targeting.

  • btw if you hav come on this video expecting to see robots and shit leave quickly there r none, thumb up so people can see

  • so...whos gonna mak a gn drive?

  • to make a robot that big to walk and stand right it need some tibe of giroscope thing so that it dosent fall and that wont be resolved from day to night

  • If religion did not exsist we would be 1000 more years into the future of technological research I am a christian and I am saddened that my beliefs caused us a millenium of research.but I dont think 1k years is going to make a Gundam I think 2thousand more years if we haven't wiped eachother out.

  • In my opinion, the problem is not how its gonna move. The point is what's gonna be used as the fuel? If we would use gas, it would need to re-fuel every twenty second. If we use electricity, it could be good for 30 min or so. Anyone have a good idea of what we could use to get almost unlimited energy?

  • @jpnmusic2 how bout nuclear reactors? wouldnt that work?

  • @YTLyricsMaker I doubt. Knowing that it would require the power of at least one nuclear powerplant, it would be impossible. When we will find a unlimited energy source (such as a battery), it could be possible. Money isnt a problem. We just dont have the technology. And he's right. We could use Carbon Nanotubes to make the protective plate of the MS. And about electronic, well the ubuh ubeh IBM Cpu. /: But for now, we can only dream. And in about ten to twenty years, it should be there. :D!!!!!!

  • @jpnmusic2 WAT ABOUT A SELF GENERATOR EACH TIME OR PART OF THE GUNDAM MOVE IT RECHARGE THE GENERATOR THUS GIVING POWER (ELECTRICITY)

  • @danierick100 Oh! Yeah! Like when ou move, it create some statics thing and thus it re-charge itself :D!

  • @danierick100 That is called an perpetuum mobile. It doesn't produce the same amount of energy that it uses to move. And it is already done in alot of modern day electric cars to preserve the remaining battery, but it still uses more energy then you get out of it. It will never generate more energy.

  • @danierick100 Except that you have to use energy to move.... so any collecting device would require the same amount of energy it would collect. It's physics 101.

  • @ScientificExploits exacly but adding it to all of it joints more power i think but not enought

  • century away and it won't be bipedal

  • Ok, as seeing this from an engineering standpoint, gundams are somewhat possible. It will just be not practical to make a humanoid mobile weapon. #1 too easy for artillery #2 mass production of the tech knowledge just isn't practical at the moment. #3 legs are ineffective in mountain terrain with something heavy like that. Finally WEIGHT! Its tough enough to make a tank go up through muck and they are spread out. Mobile suits focus weight DOWN! As for space, they would work well.
