@Phil2043 I'm not using an amp here. Instead, I plugged the bass directly to the computer (via the microphone input) and recorded it on a multi-track audio edit program.

Ah, that... let me tell ya Rob, that's one of the best inventions ever, and I don't know why other basses don't have it... it's a space carved in the wood to give a comfortable space under the strings for slapping! It's standard for Ibanez egodyne basses.

"Low End" is another name for a bass, and I think it has something to do with it's wave frequency... or something.... Im sure there are people around here who knows who can give a better explanation :)
