I prefer this version because it's something new: the Live in Tokyo is very good, but it's the way he plays paranoid most of the time during the concert. Anyway, both version are of course full qualities.

I wouldn't compare the live in tokyo as "koln concert" of mehldau. For me Paranoid is very good, something behind the sun also, but all the other one are good but not that exceptionnal ... I got rid of this album too fast .. I saw performance of mehldau in solo where he was much more convincing

This version is good, but Live in Tokyo's version is the best ever for me, this is the reference, as the Koln concert is Keith Jarret live reference.

19 minutes of perfection.

The more you listen to it, the more you understand it, and the more you like it, which is striking for something improvised.

Live in Tokyo is the only album I couldn't get rid of.
