  • Nader -- a tool...

  • when are we going to have guts like Egypt and protest an illegal , he is not the president

  • First of all Nader is an idiot, just my opinion as a democrat.

I agree that we need to keep pressure on Obama, but we do need business in this country. What is wrong with trying to work with the opposition. At the end of the day if these faceless, heartless, multinational unAmerican businesses hire more, we will all prosper. Personally I would like to string them all up and hang them for what they have done to our country, but as adults we need to work with them.

  • I'm very liberal, BUT after listening to Obama's speech to the hornet's nest of corporate elitists, it's quite clear he's looking after the worker. He went in there to request that they get off the sidelines and help grow this economy. He made clear that we know they have $2trillion on the books that can be used to expand. He also made it clear that we're in this together. No president should ignore the business community, even though we know many are corrupt. They're there - he's dealing.

  • @demmmmm1 I wonder why they have $2 Trillion on the books?? Could it be they just fired 6 million workers, downsized all their businesses, fighting to stay viable, and want a cushion to protect themselves, in an environment that is perceived as dangerous? Obama himself, and every Lib idiot has been crucifying Wall Street, Bankers, for taking chances, and now, when corporations are terrified, trash like YOU call them corrupt, and elitist.

  • @luvcheney1 Wall Street’s casino culture should not be characterized as “taking chances.” It should be characterized as “criminal activity.”

Big business is thriving. Health insurance companies saw their biggest profits ever last year. The Dow is up 5,000 points since Obama took office. They may now expand.

  • @demmmmm1 There have been many "panics and crashes' in history. They all are characterized by the same thing. Expansive monetary policies, causing investment frenzies, bubbles in their economies. The only "criminal" thing here is the Fucking Federal Reserve, and the Federal Govt. From Wall Street to the littlest homeowner, everyone in the country went crazy in the bubble. I guess YOU think the entire country woke up, went nuts, for no reason? Stupid investments look good, when interest rates low

  • @demmmmm1 Big business is "thriving", because they are smaller, they just fired 6 million workers. Or, you are not aware of unemployment? United Health (UNH) is largest health ins co in country, makes 4% on revenue, WellPoint makes the same. $500 mo policies make $20 profits. Average of the 500 large corps in the S&P 500 have return now of 4% as well. ( P/E ratio is 23.94. So, $23.94 invested gives a dividend profit, of $1. So $1 divided by $23.94= 4.2%. AVERAGE is 6%. Stupid.

  • @luvcheney1 I don’t care how many people are working for them, it’s not “profit per employee” we’re looking at. It’s profit. Period. Stupid.

  • @demmmmm1 "Profit per employee"! Thats a good one! I explained both ways of computing profit, as a percent. I referenced specific health ins corps, by profit, as % of revenue ( ins premiums). The second way, my S&P 500 reference, gives profit, as a percent of investment ( like interest). Sorry you are a financial illiterate, yet still feel qualified to comment on things you know nothing about. Fuckhead. Its not my fault your Daddy never taught you.

  • @luvcheney1 GO FUCK YOURSELVESWITH YOUR PHONEY ASS NUMBERS AND LIES - YOU WANT TO MAKE MONEY HERE IN AMERICA AND USE THE ROADS AND CONSUMERS FUCKING PAY FOR IT. FUCKING WELFARE PIMP

  • @justonefirefly1 Gee, where are your "non phony" numbers? Feel free to prove me wrong. Here is a test. Tell me the percent of after tax profit, of WalMart, 2009. Thats easy enough. It takes about 20 seconds.

  • Oh, jeez, Nader. *facepalm* Don't SAY "card check"! Idiot... So now you're revealing that the EFCA IS a disturbing card check bill, and the Right was right all along about it?? or at least that's the intention of many liberals? Don't play into the right's hands, man.

  • Nader I would have voted for you

But I couldn't let Palin near the White House

So i had to pull it for obama

  • Ralph Nader, respect man.

  • Holy crap, Ralph Nader. Good to see you again sir.

  • I heard Ralph Nader's voice and I JIZZED

    IN

    MY

    PANTS.

  • While I would not vote for Ralph Nader because it would be impossible for him to win an election, I do agree with his statements at this rally. Barack Obama is a sell-out against organized labor. He's walked away from the very people who put him in office and his only priority is his own reelection.

  • @Richardgwm Rubbish. Obama's popularity and strength continues to grow and barring some major scandal he'll easily be re-elected. A true progressive won't stand a chance in 2012 just like a far right candidate like Palin doesn't stand a chance. Obama is a centrist and always has been a centrist, some people just didn't pay attention in 2008 and came up with the idea that he was farther to the left than he really is.

  • We need a true progressive to challenge Obama in the primaries. Otherwise we will end up with a Republican in the White House in 2013.

  • @Richardgwm Do you really think that 'progressives' have that much pull? You all just lost MSNBC,Kieth Olberman and Huffington Post to the corporate right. If you take Obama out and put in a real lefty, Sarah Palin and the tbaggers will end up in control. Any primary challenge would come from a democrat, and the last I checked all of them were centrist too. Nader cant even get on the ballot in all 50. Your stuck with BO, like it or not. Palin is not an option.

  • Revolt Against Wealthy Tax Cheats

Fuck the wealthy that steal from the poor and make us pay their taxes so that they can have the services to make their profits from the blood of our children and the tears of our elderly fuck the fuckinig wealthy class down with their fukcing asses

  • @justonefirefly1 If your income is at the median, the 50% above you pay 97% of the income tax. The bottom 50% pay only 3%. Steal from the POOR?
