  • add the Warlord near the body then double click him,

    under Orders, set the AlarmTag = WL1, & Orders = Mutilating,

    under AI set his Sightradius = 1250 ,, save play enjoy

  • the sequence you are watching is done untill you arrive then

    the WarLord was supposed to fly away & up the canyon to your left

    a sneek peek ,, If you edit the level you see a series

    of alarm points with the event tag set as wl1- wl18

  • I have this Unreal walkthrough and it reads that I'll encounter the Warlord in Nyleve. It seems like that didn't even happen. Same with the squid enemy's non existence.

  • @SesakaGenX Squid exists, but is unused in the final version. Just do "summon squid" in water. Did the walkthrough mention squids as well? Didn't know that, but squid was heavily used in the leaked beta version for example.

  • @LeoTCK I don't have the beta version, just the original, the final version.

    The walkthrough book I have mentions squids as well as the Warlord part. I used to look everywhere for the squid, but I can't. I'll definitely try summoning squids for the fun of it. :)

  • How must I use that 'invisible" cheat ? everytime i type 'invisible" it doesn't work :(

  • @djhypnotizarofficial It's boolean type function, therefore you must do "invisible 1", but as soon as you shoot the invisibility stops working. Also "invisible 0" turns it off

  • @LeoTCK So after you shot near him, you were visible to him, and he just laughs at you, leaves, and blows up the corpse? If you actually shoot him does he still leave?

  • @starsiegeplayer Yes he will still leave, however he might fire a shot at you too sometimes.

  • That's pretty ominous, the beta to ut2k4 conversion has this sequence, but he doesn't step on the corpse nor does he eat it =(

  • Man, I remember reading about this in a walkthrough in PC gamer, and wondering why it was never there when I played.

  • What I heard was, they left it out because they couldn't get the AI right. The Warlord was just supposed to fly away no matter what the player did, but most of the time if the player shot at the Warlord, he'd start fighting back so they couldn't use it.

  • the warlord in the first level? nah, it's better without the big monster in the first, ahm, second level in Unreal

  • Very interesting! However, they should have left him! It would have been quite a shock to fight him again after so many levels later, as you would have forgotten about him by then. Same way as it was in CastleVania Symphony of The Night, you first encounter Death, have a very sinister dialogue and then he disappears at the very beginning of the game, only to encounter him again 100s of stages later, at the reverted castle in Hades! It was a surprising & shocking experience indeed!

  • What does look like tactical ops? The monsters? That is because tactical ops is originally UT mod and UT contains also all of Unreal code, the monsters etc. Tactical Ops have that too.
