  • Comment removed

  • Who does this version? It aint the Dubliners...

  • @FrakintheboX the Dublin Ramblers

  • 3:06 WTF, lol.

  • You get thumbs up for confused dogs and drunken santas.

  • i like the tossers version

  • 0:38 BILBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • AWESOME :D

  • IRL91 got it right it is the Kilkenny brothers.

  • ronnie drew is the best singer of this song

  • @123123niftyshiftyaaa The Dublinairs are

  • Does anyone know where I can find this performed by Brier?

    PLEASE HELP

  • It's the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem you tards.

  • It's a lot of people such as the Dublimers as well

  • You know.....I don't know for sure who IS singing it.......,but doesn't it sound like that comedian who was in Sean of the Dead and Run Fatboy Run? You know, the one who had that show for awhile. Blacks Books I think it was called.

  • No Way this is Flogging Molly buddy.. This Is The Dubliners... get your facts straight.

  • I can tell you straight that it ain't the original Dubliners

  • this is absolutely not the dubliners - its the kilkenny brothers!

  • this isnt the dubliners, are ya drunk ya drunk ya silly ol fool?

  • This is a Dubliners song, but it is definately not them singing it.

  • The clips just make this exceptional. Well done!

  • our teacher sung thisd 2 us!

  • Just because I was bored and actually listend to almost 50 versions of this song to figure out which band this was, the band this particular version is supposed to be is the International Singers. I personally can't tell if that is the name of the compilation I found it on, or the actual band who does several different "folk music".

  • 2:07

  • Neo LOL

  • is there 7 drunken nights to this bloody song, or are they all pissed and passed out before it gets there.

  • There are seven nights, but Saturday and Sunday are pretty vulgar and get left out quite often.

  • lol wtf. thats the most retarded vid ive ever seen. really funny though, still gets a thumbs up!!

  • shitty shitty slide show mate

  • lol dose every 1 think us irish r drunks

  • Not all, but I'm sure you've got some. Everyone else has their share. Mostly, Americans just like Irish style pubs. I assume they're somehow at least slightly authentic.

  • Where can I find the full version with Saturday and Sunday?

  • i know there's just something about the lyrics (w/e version u have) that make ya smile :)

  • I fucking love watching this when i'm drunk man it seriously brings out the irish in me I contemplate turning catholic and beating my wife when i watch this

    xD

But dude a 5th and a 24 pack makes me fucking LOVE this song awd damn kudos son!

  • This one happens to be performed by flogging molly but the song is played by many (Irish) bands.

This is just not the lead singer of flogging molly

  • Personally I don't think it's necessary to post it's not FM: there are more Irish Folk bands than FM fans. It's better to say by whom it IS performed. That'd take less time.

The original artists of this song were indeed the Dubliners, and it's being played by almost every Folk band in the world.

Great job on uploading by the way, good to see people being creative with things like this song :-P

  • It's neither FM or the Dubliners it's a cover of the Dubliners.

  • Its a cover of the dubliners song by the Clancy Brothers

  • thats not the dubliners.. think its a cover of it..

  • Never mind that, it's actually neither.

  • right!

  • It's not Flogging Molly, it's the Dubliner's.

  • oh my god savage...........

  • classic

  • Lmao!!!

    I Totally Bum This Song!!!!

  • Who sings this song here? It sounds like Sergeant Harper from Sharpe's (Daragh O'Malley) Let me know. Thanks

  • It's Flogging Molly I believe.

  • And as I went home on Saturday night as drunk as drunk could be

I saw two hands upon her breasts where my old hands should be

Well, I called me wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me

Who owns them hands upon your breasts where my old hands should be

  • Ah, you're drunk,

you're drunk you silly old fool,

    still you can not see

That's a lovely night gown that me mother sent to me

Well, it's many a day I've travelled a hundred miles or more

But fingers in a night gown sure I never saw before

  • As I went home on Sunday night as drunk as drunk could be

I saw a thing in her thing where my old thing should be

Well, I called me wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me

Who owns that thing in your thing where my old thing should be

  • @DjGizzo Ah you're drunk you're drunk you silly old fool

    So drunk you cannot see!

That's a lovely bannana that me mother sent to me.

    Well it's many a day i've travelled.

    A hundred miles or me.

But a bannana with the pubies on I never saw before.

  • Ah, you're drunk,

you're drunk you silly old fool,

    still you can not see

That's a lovely tin whistle that me mother sent to me

Well, it's many a day I've travelled a hundred miles or more

But hair on a tin whistle sure I never saw before

  • are these original to you or are these the lyrics that were banned from radio

  • erm well you cant really say cus there are loads of different verses as sick as sick could be if you think pissed up in the pub trying to out do each other with this great fun whilst your wife's at home lol

  • I think it was only Saturday & Sunday night which were banned. Saturday night mentioned fingers on breasts, and Sunday night was "who owns that thing inside your thing where my old thing should be".

  • this song atualy is as old as the begining of beer songs. it was actualy in latin named "drunk nights". it was a continuous song untill the people got to tired to sing longest record of singing this is actualy over 500 days in versus i know this because of a great deal of reaserch of this song. this is just a revized verion. this song came out to be offical all 7 nights in 1893.

  • very good ,well put together, reminds me of my dad bless him, liked the odd pint ,mum never talked to him for days.

  • Hahaha! Nice pictures to the song :D

  • xToryux, this version here is actually done by the Blackwater Boys, and was recorded long before youtube was thought of.

  • Ok to clear a few things up for people no so well versed. First Saturday and Sunday contain lyrics so explicit at the time that the entire song was banned from Brittish radio. The revised Seven(five) nights was allowed. The Dubliners took this traditional and made it popular thus they garner credit for it because its like a better remake. The Beatles did it in the 60's to a bunch of 50's girl pop songs and they get credit.

  • Next, this is no professional. If you search for the same keywords you'll eventually come upon a man singing this song for his own pleasure. This version sang here is nothing more than a fellow youtuber doing what the community does.

  • this song is wayyyy older then youtube and possibly the internet itself...dumbass

  • Actually it's Flogging Molly.

  • I laughed sick at this vid. And still laughing! great! ^_^

  • what happened on Saturday and Sunday?

  • Look for Seven Drunkin nights at thebardsDOTnet/music/lyrics/Seven_Drunken_Nights.shtml

  • i mean. i do like flogging molly and all..........

  • The band everyone thinks it is, is The Dubliners. And this song is not performed by Dubliners, nor Flogging Molly.

  • No, it is actually flogging molly. this is OLD flogging molly

  • ...i should kill you...

  • yeah, i did my research and its not flogging molly or....the "dumbliners"

  • thank you. flogging molly is not nearly as old as this song. I am guessing cause this sounds like his voice, i know cause i know him: Stonewall Dobbs

im likely wrong, but hey. The "dumbliners"? :-) They take credit for this song and i should kill them, because they didnt make it either.

  • Yeah, Dumbliners. I'm not sure. I'll take anything other than FM or Dumbliners.

  • dubliners, lol. minus the m. i have all of FM and DL on cds

  • its not flogging molly

  • how come no one posts the full version of this song... oh well its still good

  • I love Flogging Molly!
