mixedtapeskippy is right, if you get right down to it in ml its like 2.465xxx so subaru rounds up, hence 2.5l engine title most auto manufacturers do.
If you got tuned at TopSpeed, that's definitly not a low reading dyno by any means.. it's actually one of the highest reading AWD dynos that I know of.
Just wanted to correct that because it says in the description that it was on a conservative dyno.
Belive me, I know concervitive AWD dynos and TopSpeed is not one of them ;-)
I know - I'm close to it myself, without any IC upgrades.
I know the car's owner was less than thrilled with the output, as was the tuner; there was a problem getting the car to hold enough boost to make the power it should. I'm sure it'll do better in the future with more tuning.
it's the blow off vavle it's rather small for the turbo, It's because it's for requrements of the WRC. I'd think this car was more suited to off raod then on raod with it's engine though.
Yes, it was an aftermarket blow-off valve, but it still presented a limitation during tuning. The spring wasn't stiff enough, and spacers didn't make enough of a difference.
i dont think so i read sumwhere that st's are meant for the road they are are more civilized car sumthin like that but im not sure so dont assume i am right ok?
