Yeah, this is cool because foxes are smarter and way more agile than dogs. If you could breed them to be bigger they'd probably be better in some areas. Have you seen what foxes can do? They can get up on roofs and shit. I want one.

They're for fur. Fur farmers could care less if their animals are happy.

Actually, these foxes are not. They were bred almost specifically for pet distribution by a program begun by Belyaev.

Even if they wanted them the foxes have generated traits such as curled tails and spotted fur that makes them undesirable for farming. ;D Cheers.

@2DUK actually, if they're anything like dogs, then that's plenty of space, a dog really only needs enough space to curl up and fall asleep in when it comes to kennels, and it's not cruel to provide that minimum either, they're perfectly happy with the conditions, my mom's boyfriend runs sled dogs so he knows about this sort of thing, i may be wrong but that's what i think at least.

Because they're in Russia and they're mainly bred for research. Think of the millions of dogs that die in the streets; compared to them, these foxes have it made.
