I also see the point of the NBA's so-called "new" rules - let the game be played fairly, without hard fouls. They tried enforcing rules in the 70s too but it only lasted a year or two.

The flip side is Walt Frazier's point - nobody could stop Baylor Wilt, or Logo without a hand check, so taking it away will only lead to outrageous scoring numbers by 'unstoppable' players.

Isn't today's game more pure, with the rules enforced?
