  • I like how he said the southwest conference will live for much longer. But it deteriorates in the next few years.

  • This was my soph year at A&M. Aggies lost, but thanks for posting. What an outstanding game.

  • what a badass game

  • This is the first college football game that I have a clear memory of watching from start to finish. It was a great one. Thanks for posting it.

  • Before that win in 1990 Texas had lost 6 straight to A&M dating back to 1990. In fact other than the 1990 season Texas hadn't done much as of winning the SWC since 1983. Other than the inaugural Big 12 season in 1996, Texas was just plain mediocre while A&M dominated Texas. It wasn't until Mack Brown came in 1998 did everything turn around for Texas and by the 1998 season after the Big 12 win by A&M everything pretty much started to go down hill for A&M while things went up for Texas.

  • @redmustang03

Ok so you had a half decade of Dominance over Texas while Texas has had a whole century of dominance over you. Keep Trying

  • @redmustang03

    You forgot the 1995 season.

You know, the one where freshman Ricky Williams ran all over y'all at Kyle Field and UT won the SWC for the last time.

  • @budwyzer77, I remember that he ran for 211 yards . Now A&M is getting back into their groove because they have a defense. Still hasn't won a big bowl game since the 1989 Cotton Bowl, but they are getting better.

  • i remember you guys did'nt let us bring our cannon to this game

  • LOL at 12 seconds!!

  • Gardere was QB for 89, 90, 91, 92

  • what years did Keith and Kerry cash play for the longhorns? Was Gardere a junior in '90 season? anyone...

  • Gardere was a Sophomore in '90. The Cash twins were '87 recruits (along with teammate Johnny Walker) from SA Holmes and lettered '88-'90.

  • Thanks epigrenada! Gardere was the man at UT. Cash Brothers also great duo.

  • gardere's a beast

  • R.I.P Shane Dronett. Found dead today in Atlanta home.

  • ya once in ten years 84-94 who cares

  • I bet you LONGGG for those years, don't you?

  • I loved watching the Cash twins play ball. They were some of the great Texas players of the '80s. Sad that so many players in that decade chose to take their services out of state.

  • Thanks so much for the love and support! I am Keith and Kerry Cash's niece and I am so proud of the accomplishments they have made. Due to the death of their father in '97, they both decided to retire from the NFL but are still very active to date. Thanks again for the love and support!

  • Keith and Kerry Cash are most likely the best players to come out of Southern Texas. Its a good thing they were from Holmes High School. They should go turn that program around and make the Huskies what it used 2 be when they were around

  • itt jobb ha tudjátok... de futnak faszokjárókeretes gecik

  • A&M is better than tu for two years straight. No Questions Asked.

  • ...yet managed worse overall records in both years. Looks like aggy underachieved very badly both years if they were the better team.

  • No doubt that is true. However, I am still amazed that a team that has lost to out underachievers the last two years, still tries to talk smack. You lost. We are better. Move on.

  • 49-9

  • Texas is better than Texas A&M. No Questions Asked.

  • ... the Aggies have won 10 in a row before, congrats on your 6. The record is one sided because A&M was a small, all male military school for so long.

  • "the Aggies have won 10 in a row before, congrats on your 6."

Wrong. During the entire 107-game series, a&m has only 3 streaks of winning more than 2 in a row against Texas:

    1) a 3 game aggy win streak from 1909 to 1910 (we played twice in '09)

    2) a 6 game aggy win streak from 1984-1989 (during which aggy went on probation for major NCAA vioations)

    3) a 4 game aggy win streak from 1991-1994 (during which aggy went on probation AGAIN for major NCAA vioations)

  • "The record is one sided because A&M was a small, all male military school for so long."

Wrong again. The series is so one-sided because Texas is one of the 5 greatest college football programs of all time, while aggy hasn't even managed a single Top 5 finish in the last 50 years.

    Poor aggies.

  • hahaha youre delusional. Yeah, you have more championships than us, so does Army. t.u. is NOT a top 5 program in history. Notre Dame, USC, LSU, Florida, OU, Nebraska, I could keep going... all more prestigious. Dont get tricked in to thinking you stand anywhere near the top of the list. dont get tricked into thinking you have a heisman quality QB. SCOREBOARD: 38 t.u. 30

  • How is Fla more prestigious than THE University? They have 195 fewer wins, a MUCH lower winning percentage (we are at .718/they are at .623), & fewer national championships. Or LSU with their 692 measly wins & .641 win %?

Only thing aggy is known for (other than being our inferior little bro): there is no larger "fb" school with better resources that has less to show for it (other than NCAA sanctions). Your season begins & ends in late Nov. vs the school you sing about, and usually lose to.

  • And nobody thinks we have a Heisman winner at QB.

We just know he's better than any aggy QB in your entire history. He would already own almost every record at a&m, and he's only a sophomore.

  • How many have you won of the last 2?

  • Great memories from the "Shock The Nation" season. \\m//

  • haha, maybe you should post Texas Vs. A&M 2006 and 2007. see how you like them apples.

  • Good for you guys. You beat us two times in the last eight years(6 in a row before your two). Just look at our overall record against your Aggies. Our, Call me when you actually do something.

  • Ah, yes. The good ole "celebrate wins that took place before I was born" delusions. Congrats. Do you even go to Texas? LMAO

  • Class of 1999, so I am celebrating the wins while I was there and after I left. Who is the delusional one? I think it is you, since I am stating fact. Just look at the records and stop crying.

  • Then in your lifetime, the Ags have a winning record, and were on a 12-4 run against the Whorns when you graduated. See, facts are that I was alive to enjoy all of the wins I speak of. You weren't.

  • Huh? Texas has a record or 9-5 since 1994 against the Aggies. Where did you get a 12-4 stat?

  • 1983-1999... Both teams go on runs. But since 1975 in what is considered the "modern" era of football, the series is just about even.
