  • press 2 for knockout

  • keep looking TKD as a sport...and then told me how it hurts a kick on your face or ribs...TKD is more than that

  • man these guys are fast

  • 3:45 Eat, Pray, Love? lol

  • :54 seconds to lights out.

  • Hope he got paid lots of Yen for that boot to the grill.

  • The ko is at 0:52.

  • having studied both itf and wtf, i like wtf more. it requires more endurance since ur constantly attacking/defending/counterattacking...there's no tap, go back to the line and tap again. not to take anything from itf but i've seen some phenomenal players from olympic tkd practitioners. the entire lopez family, jeff pinaroc, javier perez, simona hradil, clayton barber, james villasana, stephen lambdin and dong sup lee are just a few of my favorites.

  • @andreshorter71 you're right, wtf is a better sport. itf is a better fighting art.

  • @tommothe1st we all see it differently. neither is practical in the sense of street applications, however some parts can be used. most perceive taekwondo as a whole as a "high kick, flashy kick" style but it's all a matter of who's teaching it. as far as which is a better fighting art, simply look at the multitude of videos on youtube. here's a link to master dong lee (my instructor's instructor) check out the video of dong lee competing for pro taekwondo.

  • @andreshorter71 thats fair enough, but i think it is more the fighter than the teacher. for instance i have adapted the flashy kicks to be incredibly effective. the fact is tkd teaches the best kicks of all martial arts but teaches the students to be the worst at using them. im in a muay thai fight this week using tkd. so i'll tell you how it goes!

  • Wow, that was amazing!!!

  • fucking screaming would piss me off.

  • (My opinion) itf isn't in the Olympic games because the fight ends too quickly but you have to admit,it's alot more fun to watch then wtf but it's also ALOT more dangerous though, the guy who got knocked out in the 1st match got totally messed up...it's very close to kick boxing too except for some of the blockings and the fighting style aswell.

  • @MattOwnz4000 How long is the fight of WTF???

  • why practice a martial art that isn't effective in the street. anything that involves full contact is a good base. Not too sure where you're from but if you go to the ground here you don't have much chance of getting back up as the attackers mate will kick you in the head whilst you're on the floor. I disagree with the kickboxing training for KK fighters as I know for sure the fighters I mentioned never did anything but Kyokushin or Ashihara Karate respectively.

  • I'LL GO EASY ON BEGINNERS ! FOR ME DIS IS NOT 2 PROVE WHO 'S DA BEST BUT 2 PROVE A DEMONSTRATION N A REAL FIGHT! IF THINK U CAN BEAT ME N WOULD LIKE 2 MAKE A BET OR WAGER WIT ME PLEASE CONTACT ME ON FACEBOOK COLE MORRIS N FORT SMITH ARKANSAS! I ACTUALLY LIVE N GEORGIA! OR U CAN SEND ME A TEXT AT 4795610834 WIT UR NUMBER N NAME N WAGER N I'LL CONTACT U A.S.A.P. OR IMMEDIATELY! APPRECIATE DAT !

  • @Cat4strof3 Spend more time training and learning from other artists and practitioners instead of calling out challenges on the internet. You make yourself look like a wannabe hardcore white belt who thinks he can defeat every one because he just learned how to kick. Martial arts is about defending yourself, loved ones, and sometimes complete strangers, not about what art is better than the other,so take that shit back to middle school.

  • HONESTLY WING CHUN IS BETTER AFTER LOOKING AT DIS I KNO WHY I SWITCHED FROM TAEKWONDO 2 WING CHUN! I PROMISE AFTER SEEING DIS I COULD WALK UP N DAT RING CONFIDENTLY WITHOUT ANY CHALLENGE N PUT DES TAEKWONDO PEOPLE ON DA GROUND ! I'M WILLING PUT MONEY ON IT! IF ANYONE IS WILLING 2 MAKE A WAGER? NOT 2 PROVE DAT I AM DAT BEST BUT JUS 2 GIVE A DEMONSTRASTION! HOWEVER IT IS FULL CONTACT N I EXPECT U 2 FIGHT FOR REAL! BLACK BELTS WORLD CHAMPIONS N EVEN BEGINNERS! I PROMISE

  • Indeed ITF is way too cool when i watched the Olympics(wtf) I fell asleep was that boring :-))))

  • you don't want to mess up with these korean guys

  • I remember the day, that i was waiting for my fight, and i saw a yellow belt, doing that kick in a red belt. i cracked my ass out, i was fucking laughing as hell ahahhaha. Thats the prove that the student can be good at taekwondo if he wants to, but it needs much dedication. i am a taekwondo student for about 11 years, and i am ready to start it again.

  • If only all tkd sparring was like this..

it seems everybody who isnt korean constantly overuses that move where you go on your rear foot and try and score points using your lead, it makes for such a boring fight, which is a shame.

  • @italianchriswilko100 Most ITF Bouts ive ever seen tend to be more Hand Themed than anything else - Its a shame that many places are sliding over to only caring about Points

  • Wow!!!

  • Awesome..

  • Holy crap is his eyes bleeding?!

  • @bangalaheng no his nose, but he haves to shut it, so il looks like he holds his eye xd

  • @6Eulogy6 so can i

  • I can do a tornado kick just like that

  • @cookiesicrem I can do jump text book spinning back kick :P

  • i like how the guy kicks and slides foward at the same time lol 0:15

  • hell no itf can suck u know wtf is so much better

  • Woow this is realy fucked up fighting with out an helmet and body armor...

  • @KingRandell Hows that fucked up? It just means the fighters need to condition themselves.

  • @Caeviens No i didn't know about itf i only knew wtf and my master told me the diffrents

  • @KingRandell yea totally, u kno wat's also fucked up? Their moms don't hold their hands when they're sparring *gasp* how barbaric! -___-

  • @DespairIIIX WTF what did you want to be funny or just thumbs??

  • @DespairIIIX Okay but you can't know everything you know....

  • @KingRandell haha true dat *cheers*

  • As I understand, TKD allows punching, so why aren't they using them? And their and are way down below their waist.. No wonder KO's are so common in this art (or sport as I have to call it when it comes to point fighting).

  • @paaaatrika kicks have more power, range and KO chance, punches become a little obsolete in TKD....but yh it is primarily a sport

  • he is bleeding through his eyes 0.o

  • what does ktj stand for?

  • @skywiz3 his club i presume

  • Where was the knockout?!

  • @steadyhandsunny Amazing knockout- 0:53

  • @steadyhandsunny 00.53 how could you miss it?

  • @steadyhandsunny What don't you just be patient and watch the video?

  • Its pointless to study these martial arts methods when a gun kills people in seconds with no skill involved.

Years wasted studying one technique can be bested with moments with a firearm.

  • @CoronaMage thats deep, man

  • @CoronaMage I can stop a bullet with my teeth LOL! Just train martial arts, you will see how useful it is.

  • @CoronaMage you do know it takes skill to handle a gun. besides krav maga and hapkido and arts used to dismember people with guns. And if you think arital training is all about beating up people then you clearly you should do more research

  • @CoronaMage some people are human and have a conciense and dont waste there time polishing guns and drinking alchohol. some people dedicate there lives to things that can improve our world that can inspire people. goodluck with ur dissapointing life u scum.

  • @perrymikey2 You're just mad because I revealed the fact that all his training and skill are worthless in the modern world. I'm sure he's plenty healthy, and probably a nice guy... but the fact of the matter is, a child with a gun can easily best the worlds greatest martial arts masters, and there is no excuse you can make up that will change things...

  • TEKKEN!!!

  • wow!!!

  • 3:50 headbutts are allowed?...

  • amazing vid :D

  • he knocked the korean offa him :o

  • 0:51 to skip to the amazing knockout

  • I though i isn't alowed to knock out in ITF

  • those look like clown shoes lol

  • wait, what does KTJ stand for?

  • Those guys are so frikken FAST! @_@

  • 3:50 WHAT THE HELL NORTH KOREAN?!

  • The korean guy is a badass.

  • Finish the video and press 2 repeatedly...... BUNNIES!

  • FUK! HIS EYE!

  • i thought you are not allowed to knockout an opponent in ITF? full force blows are not allowed? argh.. i'm confused!

  • @ShaNz194 at this level, and with such a sweet demonstration of technique how could they disqualify him? If it had been a wild swinging haymaker with no finesse..you would have seen the disqualification. That's the annoying thing about semi-contact.

  • @ShaNz194 he did so with a counter attack which makes it legal. Also, like La77a said, the technique (360 turning kick) was perfectly executed. Beautiful in fact.

  • 1:25 its nick from the jonas brothers!!!!

  • notice how itf keeps their hands up and wtf doesnt........ just saying ;p

  • @DailyGossip4 wtf do keep thier hands up for blocking.. but most of the time .. it drops for baiting and reactions..

  • itf taekwondo is more exciting than wtf, that should be in olympic games instead

  • @isrj01 Unfortunately, it probably never will be. WTF is backed by South Korea, and several members of the International Olympic Committee (both past and present) have a vested interest in promoting WTF rules sparring.

ITF, on the other hand, has had a lot of support from North Korea. Obviously, North Korean interests are not very high priorities for the other nations of the world.

  • @isrj01 - TOTALLY AGREE. BUT DON'T CHANGE THE RULES OR WATER IT DOWN OR RUIN IT LIKE THE DID WITH WTF.

HOPEFULLY IF THEY ALLOWED THIGH KICKS KNEE STRIKES AND MORE CONTACT IT WOULD BE AS GOOD AS A KYOKUSHIN MATCH

  • @Dobbersky they will never allow that because they want to distinguish it from other arts. There is already full contact with the itf pro league but thats only experimental.Im not impressed by kyokushin for the lack of head punches makes it completely unrealistic, tough but not what happens in a real fight, people go for the head almost exclusively in self defense, that and grappling,2 things not allowed in kyokushin.

  • @scarred10 that's why ITF has the "Sine" wave, as it was a recent addition by General Choi. Punching to the face is a small thing, if it was allowed the fights would be so much shorter. Note, it didn't stop the likes of Andy Hug or Semmy Schilt or other Kyokushin based fighters winning Championships in K-1 or UFC. We don't bounce either. I've used my Ashihara Karate in REAL fights and it worked a treat ;-) but there's now grappling in TKD, but there is in Hapkido!!!!

  • @Dobbersky sine wave is in since early 80s(hardly recent).Face punching is everything in any realistic fight, and is allowed in lots of styles. The vast majority of KOS are head punches, sport and street.Any kk fighter who did well in kickboxing had been kickboxing for ages already,no exceptions.Thers no grappling in tkd and little effective grappling in hapkido.Effectiveness is found in styles that wrestle ie combat sports like freestyle, greco, judo, sambo, bjj

  • @isrj01 wtf? like 'what the fuck taekwondo'??

  • @isrj01 WTF although ITF is way more exciting than WTF, WTF is in olympic games because it's safer. Kids play LOL

  • @SEPR94 WTF can't be safer because there is much more knockouts than in ITF!!!

  • @pastatkd Well, it might be because you don't raise your guard. Excuse my English if you didn´t understand.

  • @SEPR94 Well, we in ITF hold our guard up but in WTF they don't. So....WTF isn't safer.

  • @pastatkd it's just stupid and unrealistic

  • i do tae kwon do and have won alot , why cant they just make a kick continueum lol they kick then stop then kick then stop >.>

  • @Theziz8 have you any demonstrations on youtube?

  • TONADO KICK Bruce lee would be proud and I know its teakwondo and not kung fu

  • @cookiemeck tae kwon do and kung fu r kool but um dude bruce lee invented jeet kun do

  • rename video Itf taekwondo amazing sparring. and nice video i was in a comp da other day

  • i love tae kwan do, i do mma and TKD takes everyone oof guard

  • ILL FIGHT THIS CHINK MUFUCKA LOL

  • hold on is that a headbutt at 3:50? loooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • @SuperGazagangsta ramming headbutt at 4:08 to

  • awesome !!!!... ITF is the real face of taekwondo ... but I think the game is very rough... we might be killed in the game ... that's why I joined .... wtf version not the ITF ... lol ....

  • bet he didnt see that comin

  • tornado kick 2 the face!!

  • the guy was kind of covering the view for the first ko but was that a 540 kick or 360 i saw?

  • i wonder how many times the ref has been kicked in the head.

  • oohh his nose is BROKE.

  • I can observe ITF Taekwondo is usually for defensive and attacking, they take a distance of 1 meter (approximative) and being focusing to kick their opponents with a powerful kick at the head. I've seen rarely some punches, they punch when the opponent is too near or when they want the opponent to get out of the border. Anyways, i recommend this sports to people who like to kick at the head.

  • @TKDPagn the problem is if your kick is countered you are kinda screwed since you need your 2 feet to balance on... I would like to learn but only to kick on special occasions. I wouldnt have a whole match just on kickin. That seems very tiring and just unneccesry when you could use your hands which is much more convenient and still pretty powerful.

  • i like the guy in the white gloves and foot pads, very agile style~ like me :P

  • @Faqking The guy you are talking about is the one who did the motion captures for Hwarang from Tekken 3, and Tekken Tag Tornaments.

  • How come they aren't wearing head guards?

  • @xLoGiKzZx because they are seniors and they don't have to. Helmets protect the head, but the player does not feel comfortable in it (the addition of a helmet reduces the field of view), the players to 15-16 years old must wear helmets

  • @xLoGiKzZx they forgot :D

  • @xLoGiKzZx

It was the old time. Now, the law is known.

  • wow very good fight

  • It looks like these guys train in WTF not ITF as there hands were not protecting their faces.

  • 0:19 PUT YOUR HANDS UP!

  • yo man that is a good kick this guy did on the bald guys face

  • ITF Tae Kwon Do is supposed to be touch contact - a format open for criticism, ITF NEEDS something akin to Daido Juku (for those willing to participate) for it to finally stop being panned by other contact combat sports, but i don't see it happening. In an instance like this, YES the knock out IS a win. Semi contact is a nightmare for judges. If one is flailing arm and legs like an idiot and gets a lucky KO or KD, sure, tick him/her off. BUT good technique always deserves a win.

  • headbutt?

  • @GreatestHooligan looks like it, although why you would dive past kicking range, punching range, and elbow range to attempt the closest range technique is beyond me! I don't know about ITF rules but maybe they are not allowed to grab which would facilitate sticking the head on your oppo.

  • Are they allowed ot punch or are they only allow3d to you there legs?

  • @clickclocks

what happenned is that you cant punch to the face cause somehow thats more dangerous than a kick. SO they end up rarely using punches. Thats what happens when you get big "sporty" events of a martial art. Its kinda sad but true. you still get pretty cool knockouts

  • @yannis3108 You are too allowed to punch in the face. In ITF at least, not WTF. However, for colour belts (Not sure about black belts, just got mine recently) if you draw blood you are disqualified.

  • @clickclocks, they are def allowed to punch, punches usually end up breaking facial features from my experience though:) punching is very dangerous in itf tkd and you really have to know how to control yourself and not be a douchebag when free sparring otherwise the other person or you may get seriously injured.

  • @congaddict and kicks are worth 2 points while a punch is only 1

  • @waloopyman Kicks to the head are worth 3 points.

  • holy shit.

  • it was a knee and they are illegal in tkd

  • nigga got knocked da fuck out

  • @ReggieRhoden you quoted friday :P

  • @ReggieRhoden rofl thats a line in friday

  • @HolyReconSF What's friday? people say that all the time.

  • @ReggieRhoden It's a movie =D It's a funny-fakegangester-type of movie :P

  • BOOM HEADSHOT

  • isn't itf tkd semi contact? i heard that you musn't knock out your opponent there...

  • it`s almsost inposible to only use tkd in a real fight. teakwondo is great for kicks but you have to work on you hand skills to.

  • @esoerlie tkd techniques do include hand techniques, actually i think there are more hand techniques than kicks

  • Taekwondo translated into English(US) is Striking with the hand and kicking with the foot. Just FYI. TKD is most know for its variety of powerful kicks. That is why you see more kicks that hand techniques in the video :)

  • @Affenpuff No there aren't. There are about 40 kicking techniques and about 20 hand techniques. Almost everything in Taekwondo is based on kicking. Most hand techniques are also often followed by kicking techniques...

  • @labmobo i agree that the emphasise is on foot techniques but there are more hand techniques than foot techniques just because there are more possibilities of using your arms, hands, fingers, ellbows etc. and don´t forget that most blocks are also hand techniques.

  • Taekwondo is for shit as anything but a sport but gotta admit that was a nice kick.

  • ouch

  • My mouth dropped on that 360

  • @NicoLico17 his did too...

  • at 3:52 red headbutts white

  • excellent.....

  • 0;43! Jesus like a cat

  • woooooooo

  • Comment removed

  • @AngelofHat poor dumbass

  • @pacouj22 Get real punk

  • ooooo!

  • Taekwon-Do ITF lover forever!!!!

This video is amazing....I need keep training.....

  • @MaryaF1 Right on! This makes me want to train harder on my sparring skills, its very motivational to watch this. Noah

  • 45 people have been knocked the fuck out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yes you can punch in TKD. The problem that lies in it, that when you get involved in the sport of it and fighting tournaments, it all becomes too flashy. What I mean is that even though you may be a black belt, it becomes all about points. The real world of any martial art is about defense, of course. But you are also taught the art of deception to create an opening to deliver the put down blow. Remember, all martial arts was intended to be self defense.

  • dude... these guys are real good!! but... why does every time when we are like white, yellow, blue etc... they always wants us to keep our guards up... why them? lol

  • Tornado Kick

  • ard i know this stuip but can u punch in TKD

  • @williet22 yes you can punch in TKD, reason generally its not used alot in a competetion or sparring etc is due to the fact the legs are 4x the mass of your arms and twice the length its about effectiveness not flashy

  • @B3nBo1194 thanx dude

  • @williet22 no problem mate

  • Beautiful technique and holy SHIT do these guys move fast. I've sparred against some wicked black belts before, but I wouldn't last 5 seconds with these guys. And I CERTAINLY wouldn't be doing it without a helmet... I prefer my brain to NOT be splattered across the inside of my skull, thank you!

Were these guys fighting full contact? Dangerous with the power of some TKD techniques (an 8 board kick will do nasty things to your ribs), but I can't see how else they'd be going so fast!

  • sweet =)

    0:50

  • Hop hop hop hop thats anything!!!!

  • TKD low hand position got that kid owned

  • 3:53 Very niiice :D (Y)

  • TKD= self defense... Street Fighting is completely different. Like the visual arts, martial arts has different styles. In my opinion TKD > street fighting. Just because why the fuck would i want to attack someone? i'll defend myself like a mother fucker if someone steps at me, but i would never go looking for someone to start shit with.

  • so many worthless shots ))) mua thai would kill you kids )))

  • @DenisKomment this is tournament style fighting my friend, stand in a ring with a Tae-kwon-do grand master and prepare to eat kicks. LOL

  • @DenisKomment And any MMA fighter would murder any muay thai fighter, so what?
