@MultiAREE Honestly the economic figures as far as North Korea being better than South Korea lasted about until the Mid 70's actually. The North rebuilt much much faster with Soviet and Chinese aid after the Korean War. Both were dictatorships until the South democratized in the late 70s and early 80s. The Souths life expectancy outweighed the Norths starting only in 1988-1990. Today though.. Sure North Korea has gotten worse but most of it is the fact that South Korea has gotten much better..
