Truly amazing. Wish I'd be aged around my 20's when Layne was alive and AIC was in its prime, but I was only a baby. This music is so strong and it has taken me years after discovery of the band to grasp how much emotion is put into much of AIC's music, especially the "Dirt"-album. It's hard to fully understand Laynes view on life unless you are a heroinist, but for us who havn't chosen that path this music is still without a doubt some of the strongest and most honest music to ever be created.

I saw these live in Toronto in Nov 91 opening for VH. I had front row seats in front of Jerry. Unfortunately, i had never heard of them before and I (and about 17, 000 others) boo'd them offstage.

Got into them a few weeks later and they became one of my favourite bands. Still remember Man in the Box, Would, and We Die Young. Remember i couldn't see Jerry's face because he was head banging and had this mane of hair. Good times.

This song is one of few that I don't believe can never get played out. That fuckin voice is one of a kind. Layne and Jerry were the plant and page of grunge.
