Actually, they don't, in fact the comparison is useless as the stimulus bill can actually stabilize things. Whereas the bailouts was a Bush thing. Plus cap and trade can lower overall costs by removing the cleanup procedures that cost tax payers millions. With oil drilling, tax payers pay for the oil that won't go to America, but rather India as they pay more (Nationalize oil to reap the benefits of oil, think about it).
Besides, use alternative sources for energy.

The question in the survey I mentioned is actually whether people are willing to pay more to curb global warming. You have to look at another Rasmussen poll to see that the majority does not believe in Al Gore science - i.e. human activity as a primary cause (or his doomsday scenario). The bottom line is that they have fooled some of the people all of the time and some, some of the time - but the truth is winning out. The majority has already caught on to the fact that they're being scammed.

It will tremendously help GROW our ECONOMY.

And how many low income earners will be able to run out and buy more "green" efficient houses, new "green" cars, new "green" appliances, etc... after being taxed FIRST and then hoping to save money to buy all that crap?

Based on what I have posted what exactly is my opinion? You seem to be assuming quite a bit. I could make assumptions about you also.. for example.. considering the fact that I would like more evidence and that offends you... I can easily conclude that you require very little proof or evidence before forming an opinion of your own. You probably do not put much effort into gathering facts of any kind. Polls don't mean squat to me. They are a dime a dozen and have conflicting results.

By 2010 ... "WE THE PEOPLE" ... will boot out the remaining incompetent GOP party out of office for good.
The REPUBLICANS have done NOTHING but repeatedly stood in the way of President Obama & the Democratic Party.
