yeh man machida vs shogun 1 will go down as 1 legendary battle for the ages..glad were in the era of early mma..mma is still so young and these battles that weve seen live and on ppv so far are a true honor for real mma fans..cant wait to see cain and dos santos in a few weeks

@hitmantv41 I really hope he makes a comeback now; he has some flaws in his gameplan that NO ONE has exploited yet (cept shogun tried). The best defense is a powerful and logical Aggeressive Defensive "Forward Push" that features counter attacking / evading / moving forward CONSTANTLY / throwing tactical punches and kicks at key locations on the body, legs, arms and head in rapid succession.

Also - I'm shocked Forrest lost so badly; I was expecting him to put up more of a fight....
@LeVaughnX Lol aint no dam lucky punch its called seeing through your opponent, Lyoto came at him with the knee to the midsection stepped back and came back again to get countered to hell, to me and most people who pays attention know it was a timed counter punch waiting for lyoto to come back in with a knee or punch.
Machida very well could be top 10 p4p but 2 things seem to stand in his way from being recognized fully for that. 0-2 on shogun hurts his credentials big time. And his lack of aggression at times. Fighters who can push the pace will win decisions on him. Judges suck at things like escapes and reversals.
