@07ortonja Anakin's eyes were yellow at this point and when a Sith's eyes were yellow it meant that he was surrounded by the Dark Side of the Force, by fear, hate and anger. Obi-Wan was in the most pain.

this version came to Lucas at last second the mustafar and burned anakin

originaly they were supposed to fight on some blue planet and Obi-wan was supposed to hit Anakin's lungs so hard he could not survive without life support system AKA suit but than lucas got this gruesome idea which made me hate SW for like 2 yrs thank you Lucas thank you very much >:-(

Emotionally, the part that hurts the most is that Anakin and Obi-Wan went from a mentor-apprentice relationship to a brotherly relationship after all the journeys they went through and now they're enemies. It especially crushes Obi-Wan that Anakin, his brother, is now an enemy. His good side killed, his dark side kills.
