BusterRake is way to easy to abuse with RiskyHoney3. with DoublePoint, that's a good 3200 damage.

If I may... Include some notes about Forte BX (ONLY BX)

1. He has a pattern, which he sometimes change before 1700 hp and always below 1700 hp. It's rake->rollings->gust/breath which may be changed (after rollings) to rake-breath-rollings.

2. Buster Rake will not break LifeAura. It doesn't flinch, either...

3. He won't use DarkSword unless you stand in the front column.

4. He is invincible while moving.

5. F-Gust pierces invis and, unlike Falzar's F-gust, will damage you if you get into it.

you know what i dont get?(i had falzar version)everybody was bitching and shitting their pants about falzar but bass was indeed the hardest boss of all time in battle network history,they could have at least made falzar harder,and bass never used gregar breath on me for a strange reason.

Some people use Invis as a form of defense, and it might be their undoing as they panic. Much like your explanation of Darkness Overload from BN5, which also pierces Invis.

Thanks for the guide, though, it helped me dodge Hellz Rolling, which I usually get hit by. I suck, so I usually just wait until he does Gregar / Falzar Breath, and use Reflect to Counter it. Your patch, however, has that annoying lightning attack that usually owns me easily since I underestimate it, I even found regular Bass BX harder than the first Bass!

Your patch's Bass v1 is hardcore then if I have a harder time against a weaker version! Then again, I had crappy chips at the time... And I fought him immediately after Bass v1 was available to fight... It doesn't help that the batkey isn't even that useful at that point, and you made the undernet a huge hazard to walk around with weak chips >_>.

Well, that's the point. BX should be hard for most people, but not all. You can't exactly dodge his buster shots unless you're either sliding on ice panels or you're invisible. or you interrupt them. If you want an example, look at my "favorite challenge" on my channel.

Nice guide timaeus!

I think Buster Rake is the hardest attack to avoid. Buster Rake makes several couples of shots on your field, one shot is always on your current panel, and the second one is in a random panel. So you need to move to avoid the first shot and you need luck to not step on the panel affected by the second shot :S

I think that one way to improve the chances of avoiding that attack is using as many AreaGrabs as possible.

oh, one more thing. Did you know that Bass only hits ahead of him? If you use AreaGrab and hit him, then there's a panel above and below him. Move to one of them and he can't hit you because you're beside him! :P
