  • They was getting down there at the end lol

  • one of them is my cousin

  • I was totally into metal in the early 80s, but now I realize that bands I used to dislike (Alabama, Air Supply, America just to name a few) were actually very talented musicians.

  • Alabama has always been my favorite band

  • Saw them several times at the Indiana State Fair back in the 80's. While everyone else in school was listening to heavy metal, my memories are spending weekends at Woodland Lake in Brown County, IN listening to Alabama.

  • The best group in country music.

  • @Tazz007416.....What the hell are you even talking about?? ...Did I read?,,,,Did YOU even read what I wrote. You are quite funny in your so called 'tolerant society' that you claim to be a part of. You just basically impugned an intire region of the USA, consisting of well north of 50 million people. It is always funny to listen to you guys that admitedly have never been to the south talk about that which you have NO idea. Again I say stop listening to your rediculous media.

  • Timeless....the greatest country band of all time. entertainers of our lifetime.

  • Can't get any better then this.

  • at 3:10 he's jerkin' it

  • @admiralpat42 too me that somthing els!!!! AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAH!!!! LOL

  • Alabama is probably the best band ever! Love when they all three sing those three lines in the middle. Couldn't have put a better verse in Brad Paisley's new song!

  • I'm so glad Alabam is performing again!

  • One of the greatest songs ever.

  • 6 people ar black...

  • You don't know country music if you don't know of Alabama...

  • reminds me of driving yo WV with my dad

  • @MrMajestics64 My dad had a VW Van and we listen to Alabama to . LOL! :D

  • I like this singing better than the new stuff. Multiple guys actually sang together back then and could harmonize instead of voice-over and duplication done by computers nowadays.

  • Fuck Sony/BMG... This song belongs to Alabama and their fans. The most respected band ever... Long live Alabama!

  • I'm 22 years old, my friends say I'm odd for liking this type of music and oldies like I wanna hold your hand and all that.:(

  • @springfairy556 Well, I'm only a couple years behind you and receive similar remarks....but i grew up on country music in the 90s so i prefer it over most everything else

  • @ehow22 well i'm alot of years behind you and i love country, cause i was grew up farming, so i guess it just runs in my blood(:

  • @springfairy556

    get some new friends!

  • This is WAAAAY back in the day....when they still liked one another. Age is not what broke them up. Teddy and Jeff couldn't get along with Randy and his wife. And Mark made the best decision and distanced himself from all of it.

  • and i'll roll on down the river to that cajun hideaway

  • zzfireman you got that right.. Great band! Ya gotta have a fiddle in a band!!

  • zzfireman you got that right.. Great band!

  • I am 34 and this is what I grew up with I sure do miss them days.

  • I am 34 and this is whaqt I grew up with I sure do miss them days.

  • Man i wish they would tour again.......

  • jeff cook is the f...in man

  • i saw them like 5 times in the 80's--they are in a league all their own. I wish country music was still this good!

  • i love this music!!!

  • Thats right Alabama all the way...

  • I am Canadian but of South American descent. To clarify, I am non-white in complexion. I love Alabama music, however I and many others world-wide have heard of horror storiesof bigotory and outright "Hitlerisc" type behaviour of many southern USA inhabitants. This has prevented myself and numerous others from visting the southern USA, and truly appreciating the southern lifestyle along with the music. I would reccomend a change in attitudes towards non-white individuals of the population.

  • @Tazz007416 maybe 50 or 60 years ago...the south is not even like that anymore..in matter of fact I am from Louisiana and some of my best friends are asians and blacks

  • @PuRpLeSmUrF05 There are still some folks like that down yonder but very few, so yeah alot has changed since back then....i'm from good ol' Louisiana as well btw :D

  • @Tazz007416 Man around here we dont give a damn about non a that bull crap we are good christian people we welcome anyone into our communities with open arms and Southern Hospitality it was bad in alot of places along time ago but just like the rest of the country we have evolved into better people I know my neighbors and many of the members of my community black, white green whatever we go to church together we speak to people when we see them and we wave at people we dont even know around here

  • @bambam3991 Big thumbs up to your response with much respect.

  • @bambam3991 A big thumbs up to your reply !!! Much respect !!!

  • @Tazz007416 That is why sooooo many people need to stop listening to todays media. All of them are 60's throw backs that are just chomping at the bits for another civil rights movement. They distort every thing. Ignorance, I have found is an equal opportunity disease! Everyone seems to look for ways to be victims lately.

  • @fortheluva1 Seriously did you read before you wrote? Your comments are beyond ignorant. Do you worship unlovingst which is a product of the devil...if so enough said !!!

  • @fortheluva1 seriously did you read anything before posting? Civil rights are rights belonging to all people and not just certain races. Humanity is quite diverse and created by God by his purpose according to his will. If you feel that you are a superior then you are truly doing the work of the devil..pat yourself on the back for being one of Satan's mignions !!!

  • great music and good song

  • its good to hear some of the comments ..theres no reason why we cant appreciate all music..i really like some of the 50s and 60s stuff that i dont hear anymore!! :/

  • This looks a bit like a Geico caveman commercial :). My favorite song EVER!

  • This is what country music is all about!!!

  • is that malcom young

  • where's the mosh pit from 3:01 and on

  • It really reminds me of when times were more simple, and when music had real feeling, as well as real meaning.

    love em.

  • You went to the Bowery and it was in North Myrtle

  • @hackman12179 Bowrey's not in North Myrtle Beach. It is off Ocean Blvd. in Myrtle Beach.

  • I went to a bar in Myrtle Beach S.C. and I guess its where Alabama played before they hit the big time, anyway it was a really cool joint.

  • love the hair LOL

  • i agree this my favorite besides garth brooks

  • Hands down the besT country band ever!

  • i listen to hip hop all the time but this shit you cant beat it is the BEST SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love that fiddle solo

  • call them whatever kind of country you want....it does not get any better than alabama!!

  • @zzfiremanzz I agree. My mom and pops ALWAYS played Alabama and I'm 29 now so I guess it stuck with me. Alabama rocks!

  • @zzfiremanzz HANK, JUST AS GOOD, BUT THEY ARE ONE OF THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME I DO AGREE

  • @zzfiremanzz to the music industry they would be called classic country but to all of us country & more importantly all the millions & millions of Alabama fans the they are Country GODS.

To the 8 people that don't like this ssong WE GOT 2 WORDS FOR YA............................

  • Randy and company just said what true music is about and where you get it. 2:07

"play some back home, come on music, that comes from the heart. play something with lotsa feeling, cause thats where music has to start" music comes from the heart and todays artists forget that

  • @montereypopfestiva67 this song is the best reason of all why I listen to their music even today. I just got for christmas a 3 disk box set of theirs.

  • thats because this is what country is. taylor swift and rascall flatta are country flavored pop, which sucks. alabama is what counrty music should be. yea, hank, george jones, they are REAL country artists

  • Really good song. Brings me back to Nebraska 1991, my hich school exchange year...

  • man... when i learn the fiddle i wanna play this. Alabama rocks!!!!

  • OMg, I love everything about Alabama so much. They just make me happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Old country was the best I sure do miss the 80's

  • @ToddGustafson i may only be 18 but amen to that i miss them too, ell the music anyway

  • Very VERY awesome! I love that part that kicks in at 3:07 !!

  • You RULE for posting this!

  • the greastest band of all time i seen them in person 5 times

  • Even though this comment goes against my opinion, that is funnier than hell!

  • I hate "old country" but I loooove Alabama!

  • This is my favorite country group and I don't really follow country music much. I'm into pop and r&b and those old school country crossover groups such as The Everly Brothers, all of Crystal Gayle, Shania Twain, Anne Murray, Dolly Parton and so forth. I know this song was a # one hit on the country charts. It should have made the hot 100 top forty charts.I see they have over 31 # one hits and over 15 top five hits, they're an awesome group. Do they lead the pack of all the country artists!!

  • i love this song so much i love Alabama. i listen to everything tho so its not a surprise that i like them cuz they r amazing and i dont care what anyone thinks(rock is more so my music tho)love them tho

  • i personally hate county, but i love Alabama

  • i'M HARDCORE METAL BUT i GREW UP LISTENING TO aLABAMA,THEY ARE ONE OF THE GREATEST BAND OF ALL TIME

  • Me to.

    I love them.

I'm italian but in the eighties i growed with them.

  • ????????

  • old country is the best like these guys and hank williams jr.

All this new crap sucks. they will never be as good as the classics

  • LOL.... Hank Williams Jr. and Alabama are not old country.

  • so they are new country? no. they are old. yes there is older but still. they are legends. old farts.

  • Yes, they are new country. They were one of the first new country bands. I guess you could call them old new country.

  • They WERE a SOUTHERN ROCK band, gone country, which brought about "new Country" as an alternative to the upcomming rap

  • but this set of old farts can PLAY

  • I was born in texas and live in arizona but the texas blood in me is the part of me that likes country music

  • favorite song of all times!!

    Mountain boys can survive!

  • best song EVER!

  • beautiful music!!!!!!!!

    Thanks from Italy

  • Nobody makes country music like this anymore. It's all corn pone crud now.
