This movie actually disappointed me quite a bit - the other two were all about the Mariachi, and his struggle, but in this movie it's clear that Rodriguez cared less about the Mariachi than he did about Depp's character. Depp got better lines and a better story - Banderas' seemed like just a generic rehash of Desperado and El Mariachi.

this whole movie is bad ass. great cast. Antonio banderas, Salma Hayek, Johnny Depp(the best part of it)Eva Mendes, cheech. cant go wrong with all them in the cast. Great Story, Great action, great special effects. this is my favorite movie of Johnny Depp. he is so cool in here. my 2nd is Pirates of the Caribbean. 3rd is Charlie and teh Chocalte Factory. but THIS movie is for sure in my top 10. mabey Desperado too.but Desperado wasnt as good as this. both were still kick ass though. 10 out of 10

Rodriguez and Depp wanted to do another film or two with the Blind Gunman as the main character for a while, but with Rodriguez doing Red Sonja, Machete and Sin City 2 now I guess that's not happening.

Plus Depp has Alice, Shantaram, Dark Shadows and one or two other projects up to bat.
