To be ligthweight requires tons more than just engineering skills..
I respect Porsche, I believe it is the best car to live with but when it comes to track and pure driving feelings there are only very few cars around there.
Produced by people/companies that do not have the money or power. But have got the proper mentality & philosophy.
By the way it was good fun the other day overpassing a 997 Turbo on a Greek track. That was on the brakes. 997 was fitted with the yellow ceramic brakes...
@SecularTechnology simpliest things require most skills... it's completely irrational to make something complicated that's equal or less effective. That's why I love Donkervoort, Superseven, Westfield, Caterham and similiar,
If you're going to spend $150,000, why not buy a real car? Like a real American muscle car. You could buy the 2010 Corvette ZR1 for that money.... Donkervoorts are a waste
The ZR1 is slower, breaks down more and sorry but I don't think there is much "realism" in American cars any more. The Pontiacs are Australian and the Corvettes are designed by European engineers.
Your lines could be better I think. Especially on the Scheivlak, you touch the apex way too early IMO. But maybe it's different if you have so much power?
The Porsche lines are worst than in a school driving!!!! but even if he had good lines, a Donky is one of the best track car on Earth! Both are quite difficult to drive, not for the same reason although...
Nice pass on the Porsche:-)

Peace of shit just used lightweight to get around the track, doesn't take any engineering skill at all.

@gnarkillkicksass
That's funny because BMW/MINI's head designer is American. :D

@EvilCerealBoX Yeah but Chris Bangle is retarded. Anyone who buys a car he designed must have been kicked in the head by a horse.

Amarican Muscle is a waste to. would rather have a Donkervoort than a American muscle. This car is one of the fastest on the Nürnbergring.
And why ? I don't like straight lines
