I beat the game when I was nine. Beat the game with all chaos emeralds when I was 10. Man, the Sonic games had epic musical scores and at times were finger-breakingly difficult. The best feeling was after you finally beat the game, and the music at the end is totally worth it every single time.

I beat this as a kid not long after it first came out. When I saw this sequence of events I was in tears. At first tears of sadness, then tears of joy. Bear in mind that I played this as an 8 year-old and was addicted to Sonic like a cocaine addict was addicted to classic Coca Cola.

this level was epic!! I got all chaos smeralds and found all the secret life spots by myself... so many hours playing sonic 1, 2 and 3. Love them all sooo much.. For me after sonic and knuckles real sonic is death. Sonic CD was a crap, and all the sonics after suck as well.
