  • ''SUPER-LIKE-A-ROBOT''

  • grrr how does he do left side step then three left hooks? >_>

  • Nin ripped him up. no round at all...

  • nin vs rape

  • What are these guys playin with? Ps controller ? Chic? Or arcade?

  • @reddevil230292 its usually arcade controls at EVO

  • @TerrisJ3 thank you, i can see how they move like that now PS controlers are quiet unweildy i think in comparison to arcade controls

  • i dun understand tekken, but it looks fun.

  • omg all the comments on this vid are of you guys agueing just stop so other peoples comments are on the front page for longer lol

  • good match, but I don't understand why Law don't just use his Fake Step-punch parry? I mean I thought this match was gonna be cheap because of that.

  • @IzunaDR0P

Fake step(or parry in general) is not effective in high end play, if you know how to do setups. Might work once or twice, but try this against players like Nin and you'll be punished easily. As already mentioned, Rip got swept 10-0 when he and Nin fought in SoCal ft10.

  • Whats the command for the move in 2:51 ? Is that a wall splat move ?

  • disgrace to bruce lee

i'm a noob and all but the law player is stupid, doesn't mix grabs much, uses the same one all the time. Doesn't use parry, doesn't mix it up with his dragon sigh stance and other stances law has

    doesn't attack low enough

catching an opponent off with low punch or low kick to sommersault kick works as it counterhits well, works in other tekken too

keeps turning his back around and not taking advantage of it, as the time to turning around is slow

  • @LAHrebirth Law is fine you just suck with him

  • A flawless set by Nin. It's great that T6 has such longevity. Hopefully Namco continues the trend and solidifies a place for 3d games in EVO.

  • @DepositInfoHere this was more like Nin vs the computer lol...tekken is out of 2012 evo, and I don't blame them, 2011 evo t6 final was a joke

  • All you guyus saying that the Law sucked, firstly he made it to the finals in a pretty big tourny so can't have sucked, must've been pretty good, also i seen one comment saying that he doesn't kick that much, well this is a pro game and kicks tend to be more easily punished and just b,2,2 or something so they have to be careful otherwise gameover round wasted so you might win online playing like that but the standard of player in tournies are like 50 times higher than just a random online.

  • There's no frame advantage. He just go his ass whipped. Tekken has enough balance for any character to be able to mix it up and win. 80+ moves per character, and how many did he use with Law? This is a perfect example of why you should know your character's entire move list and how each move chains and traps with the other. He couldn't even control range and get back to his safe zone.

  • @earthquakenate Well, but actually, Steve is the best character to win at a tournament. I think the home/ away characters match is real championship IMO.

  • @kingmanekin IMO there are no best characters in tekken, only style favorites. That's what I love about Tekken. No Tiers. If you understand your character and you lose, then you only lost because you were unfamiliar with the character you were fighting, not because of a programmed advantage. You may need to fight a little less flashy to win, or use moves that you don't like as much, but the balance is still there.

  • @earthquakenate Actually, it's balancing in most of levels. But I meant that in very high level, Steve is outstanding a bit. in fact, offensive power of Steve is outstanding and he has even various dodge moves. Well, I recognize that Nin is so so among professional gamers.

  • @kingmanekin ppl who CAN play tekken wont say that rip is better than nin.

  • @kanelee So what. Do you know the word of subjectivity? ;p

  • @kingmanekin Nin is so-so among professional gamers? well, u clearly are misinformed, lol.

  • @kingmanekin from your laughable logic, I guess I'm better than Daigo if I go against him and lose with Dan if he uses Ryu in vanilla SF4 right? lol. and Daigo is just so so among professional gamers.

  • Well, Steve is strongest character in fact. I think Rip is better than Nin.

  • @kingmanekin LOL you serious? you think some dualshock 3 using moron is better than Nin? you do realize Law is good counter against Steve, you don't even know what you're talking about dumbass

  • @bludika calm down old fart. lol

  • @bludika kingmanekin is just a troll, lol. I kinda feel stupid now even replying back to him.

  • @imania2000 what are you talking about. lol am I trolling? whatever, I didn't say that I'm stronger than pro-gamer. This is more simple matter. I just said that actually Steve is strongest character, especially in a tournament. Similarly in case of Daigo, Ken is one of the strongest character in fact. Do you have a question?

  • @kingmanekin do you short-term memory? lol. if u just said "steve is the stronggest character," people wouldn't have said much. In addition, you also "just said" RIP is better than NIN, and NIN is so-so among professional gamers, and I was talking about vanilla SF4. Ken was one of the best in 3rd strike, but not in vanilla SF4. Get your facts straight :)

  • @imania2000 So... Whether you're Nin's fanboy or not, nobody can deny someone's subjectivity. Are you living in North Korea? At least I didn't think that Nin is very great gamer. That's all. Do you want to change my mind? why? do you know that I'm not your girlfriend?. ;p

  • @kingmanekin no, i don't want you to change your mind. just like u expressed ur subjectivity that nin is a so-so player, i'm expressing my subjectivity u'r a troll based on what u'r saying. :p

  • @kingmanekin which means you obviously dont know much about tekken. thats ok. no big deal. but i hate when they talk or type like they know something :p

  • @kanelee he's just a lifeless troll, lol. i've seen him a couple of times in other videos talking shit about korea and korean players with his bullshit. i mean i'm not even korean, but this was getting annoying to see that troll bitching about it again in every tekken match i see.

  • did you have a legs law?? what shit!

  • It's so funny, because in real life Bruce Lee (Law) would own ANY boxer in a real street fight. But oh well, good game! I guess I play REALLY differently than most Tekken players, I usually make players come to me and focus more on landing unpredictable moves rather than long finesse bounding type stuff.

  • @theSneakySasquatch nice joke

  • @howerover no joke, on either part

  • @theSneakySasquatch haha, youre killing me

  • @howerover how so? ask anyone who knows what theyre talking about, Bruce Lee was undoubtedly the best pound for pound fighter in the last century, followed by Benny "the jet" Urquidez

  • @theSneakySasquatch what a limited point of view

  • @theSneakySasquatch ask anyone who's watched too many martial arts films you mean? Benny the jet would have beaten Bruce Lee because he was a REAL FIGHTER and he is nowhere near being the best p4p fighter himself. He was good but he's known for having fought a lot of cans. You really think Bruce Lee could have beaten any of today's top mma guys? Any of the the strikers could beat him let alone anyone with ground game.

  • @LionelWitchieWardrob bruce lee grew up as a street fighter, the entire reason he got into martial arts was because he was discriminated against in his school for being part chinese and got beat up daily by groups of people. He wasnt some movie star, he was the legit real thing in fact he paved the way and essentially founded mixeed martial arts with his philosophy of jeet kun do, which has no restrictions on form and technique, it only takes what works best from many...

  • Comment removed

  • @LionelWitchieWardrob different forms of martial arts and allows you to form a style from the best of different disciplines. he created this when at the time such crossmixing of styles was unheard of by anyone in the world of martial arts. seriously you dont know anything about this guy do you? he broke records in athleticism that still hold up today. he trained chuck norris, and chuck norris has stated that even in his prime "no one could ever beat bruce." bruce lee had...

  • @LionelWitchieWardrob infamous street fights during his career, one of which he fought a well established black belt in a refereed no holds barred match. in 13 seconds he won, he landed 15 punches and kicked the guy so hard he sent him sprawling across the gymnasium they were in. the ref said he thought bruce killed the guy, but instead he went to the hospital. bruce lee practically MADE martial arts into what it is today, to say otherwise is just plain ignorant

  • @theSneakySasquatch 'you dont know anything about this' - I've heard the stuff you're talking about and it's clear that Bruce Lee was a talented guy, but he was a film star. All this stuff about him being untouchable is what made his fight scenes credible to the public, but not much of it can be proved - it's hearsay. Who's going to bad mouth a legend once he's dead? There's a clip of Chuck Norris being asked who would have won between him and Bruce and he says 'I was a professional fighter'

  • @LionelWitchieWardrob yeha and he goes on to say in that same interview that he was a pro fighter and bruce was a movie star, and that they would never want to fight eachother for that reason. but he essentially tries to avoid the question, because in fact bruce lee taught him a good bit when they were training together. the interview you mentioned was also after bruce died, and the same with the one i mentioned. for his weight? YES, bruce WAS untouchable.

  • @LionelWitchieWardrob actually i do, just because you dont agree with me is your business. the simple fact that you looked at my rece3nt activity and drag another conversation into it is proof enough that you know im "right" in the other conversation. im not gonna debate mumford and sons with you, because theyre amazing lyrics should speak for themselves. but i am a studier of the arts, and my vocal instructor tours with justin timberlake so take that as you will...

  • @LionelWitchieWardrob but bottom line im right on bruce lee, and you know it. if you still have a different opinion, whatever. but dont go trollin on me cause i think differently. my OPINIONS arent just worded well, theyre well researched and educated. which is more than i can say for you. i dont just say shit cause i can. actually im quite a good athlete and while yes im not a "fighter" ive taken enough training to handle myself pretty well. regardless, thats irrelevant.

  • @LionelWitchieWardrob bottom line, just leave me alone. i didnt come to this channel looking for trouble, you decided to bring it with you. so if you cant beat me in an argument art least be the bigger man, and admit that youre either wrong, or that you respectfully disagree with my opinion.

  • @theSneakySasquatch If you believe Bruce Lee is the best P4P fighter ever I'm guessing you're not a fighter yourself. How could you be

  • @howerover exactly. I bet this guy thinks Jackin Chan is number three right haha

  • RIP didnt have a chance....i mean at all !

  • @DmanTheBest29 its because he sucks, and he's can only last longer than usual because he's using Law

  • Man that law sucked.....

  • he took a punch to the knees

  • Rip is such a fucking scrub. That Indian shit can't play for real! Real talk!

  • was it just me or every law player that i see here on youtube always lose

  • @Eeiiaane go and watch (malgu) best law player outthere for me

  • that was perfect! i love steve and i hate law

  • lol wow steve is killing that law bad

  • lol tekken takes less than a third of the skill to play street fighter 4 scrubs.

  • @noJutsu1000 i dont know unfortunetly i never played street fighter but i played tekken and mortal combat and tekken needs a lot more skill...

  • @noJutsu1000 i am very much sure you suck at tekken...tekken has frame counts, juggles and punishes and more shit than SF4...

  • @noJutsu1000 You are quite wrong. Street Fighter takes a unique skill that someken players don't have, but Tekken also takes certain knowledge that many SF players would find yifficult to about to. Both have functions and gameplay that have many similarities, but very many differences that proves that they are both different, but equally as difficult. Your statement is invalid kid.

  • @MobianShoopIndustry haha i was trolling on purpose i just wanted to see what the tekken community had to say. i understand everything you said i wanted to be "that guy" for once ;;;;;;p

  • @noJutsu1000 Everyone here knows you where trolling and doing a pitiful job at it. Fightings may have similarities to each hence the genere. However every individual fighting game has it's own unique formula, every series has it's vibe, and every producer has their methods. Learn your shit or GTFO. Do not missjudge a singel fighting or series because you do not understand it, unless you want everyone to view you as the ultimate newfag failure.

  • @MobianShoopIndustry LOL. okok.

  • Actually Steve is best char for tournament. I can't say that Steve user is worthy of praise as the winner.

  • block block square block block square pih amaters. I kann beat everyone in the world !!!

  • Couldn't Nin could have just followed up with Albatross Low 2, after the Footstomp at 0:40? Albatross2 is a guaranteed hit after d/b+3,2.

  • @J2DaPhizzle

Nins play is unorthodox. Not only that, but he likes to play with his opponents at times. It is very rare that Nin plays seriously. He didn't think to go for something guaranteed, but instead went for Oki, because he had already read his opponent well, and could pretty much do anything he wants with his opponent

Now, I have a great deal of respect for Rip. He is one of the best Law players in America in my opinion. However, against Nin, the gap in skill and is apparent

  • LOL not much of a grand final

  • mashy game sucks

  • Nin is a beast with Steve..He was too fast for law

  • @TheRayzor86 dickhead, dont talk shit

  • @lukeeez you mad bro?

  • @lukeeez awww someone is pissed

  • steve<3

  • instead of bitching about steve, just listen to the commentator in 4:06 that's how fucking good Nin is. He's more dominant in tekken than Daigo is in sf

  • @imania2000 Daigo isn't very dominant in Japan. Only in America.

  • Nin is broken, lol

  • Wow! Nin always used down 2,1 for setup!

  • This is my first Tekken 6 evo match i've ever seen (i stopped playing cus i suck & lag) & this is really impressive. It looks like 2 real people are fighting! I play Street Fighter, so im used to projectiles & big uppercuts & stuff. I still love both & these are really grat players.

  • @JohnnyBoy933 Can't call it real when someone can be juggled like that, but in certain ways ya it does look realistic,

  • @Mazzah96 lol yea

  • i like them both! they are the best marshall law and steve! \m/

  • fail no champions

  • law noob!

  • 18 billion

damn im pretty sure humans dont reproduce that fast

  • how do you get out of grab moves?can someone let me know.

  • @jarrod1685 i think its when you press the corresponding button with the grab. E.g the grab incorporated was square+X, you press square. Could be wrong, as I haven't played tekken in a while... also i think the same thing applies to soul calibur.

  • there should be some defense on the ground for this characters don't make sense to just have escape rolls and side rolls why not have some defend on the ground or some what a parry sense in the ground the launches in this game are ridiculous.

  • WTF? They released Tekken 6...?

  • @MessyJatador seriously dude??

  • @MessyJatador Don't check out the tournaments for it, it's really horrible compared to this. All they do is dodge for 10 secs, tickle/poke eachother then repeat this until someone does, occasionally, you'll see a combo, but that's it. T6 fell pretty hard to SF in my opinion.

  • @MessyJatador yeah they released it years ago in 2007 i believe

  • i've got to get this game!!!!!!!!!!! tekken 5 is cool, but man tekken 6 looks sick!

  • steve actually fought like a boxer!

  • @K1dDRoB0t boxer's usually do

  • it seems law has always frame disadvantage vs steve!

  • @djmj1000 he just doesn't know how to manipulate Law.

  • @djmj1000 Everyone is at a frame disadvantage vs Nin's Steve. He plays really smart with the way he uses his frame traps & mixups.

  • @djmj1000 what do u mean? plz explain

  • @llethaface11 that law is definetly very good player, he mostly went for save and quick moves against steve and both players defend well and escape throws, but mostly steven won here while the fight never looked one sided!

  • @djmj1000 it's called skills. Frame is not everything. Each attack has it's best angle and excute distance. Nin just knew them better. If it's just frame, then why not just keep pushing left punch all the way? Angle, distance, delay, opponent's reaction all being caculated in Nin's head.

  • @brazilianspiritzz i know, thats why i said it seems ;), i am a true fan of using the best move for the best situation, since almost every move can be used at best for certain situations, but since things like angle distance are very hard to see quick most people go for most save moves. There are many moves almost perfect for certain situations. Emphasize on "almost". If a move is "always" its a save move, that defines also how good a char is.

  • @djmj1000 For example Yoshimitsu Flash seems so often so natural especially for beginners. But its distance and angle are so hard to detect that it still fails very often and on the other side it hits very often and my flash success rate is very high.

Or take yoshi air attacks they are very often perfect for certain situations like a rollback of enemy. But if opponent is a little to far sideways it wont hit and yoshi gets countered badly.

  • @djmj1000 Big example is Yoshimitsu in Tekken 3, for each enemy position FT, ST, BT he has different uppercut juggles. And even worse if its like three quarter sidestep you won't hit your juggle at all. Which makes Yoshi not a top-tier since his moves arent constant whereas Jin is top-tier since you always do the same and most dmg juggle from all positions! Of cause it is skill if you detect all this but many characters make it much easier.

  • @djmj1000 oh, sorry 4 misunderstanding. now, I wanna say the same thing for Asuka against Law.. Sine Asuka's excution of the attack is always at the very last moment, and there's not much of advancing effects.. about to give up on Asuka. So pissed by Law or Steve raw attackers. Maybe I shoud change to Nina

  • @djmj1000 what are you talking about? Law overall has an advantage over steve any day, its because this Law sucks compared to somebody like Nin

  • @bludika yeah.. good (I should say Better, but I don't wanna offend the RIP) Law players are lethal with him (LAW). He's got parries that counters punches, PUNCHES for F@CK sakes... he's fighting a boxer. -_-!

Seems like this match was rigged.

  • @LoyalNODZealot

Yes Steve is a Boxer, but he has moves that dont involve punching. Not to mention that Flicker Jabs cant be parried. One of his greatest strengths against a character like Law. This match wasn't rigged. Nin is just one of the best players in Tekken History. Also, THE BEST STEVE PLAYER IN HISTORY. Rigged? Lol no. I'm sorry, but you seem new to the Tekken scene. If you had been around for a while, you would know these things

  • @OboroNinjaLeader ouch! that felt personal.. Any idiot can tell that Nin is a great player. But the fact still remains, 80% of Steve's punches could still be parried. BTW.. what do you need in order to qualify for these thinga-ma-jigs anyway? ^_^

  • Noobs -,-

  • @MyGamerTV why? can u do better? no u cant cause u suck and use the same spam move everytime

  • @ThePwnedsouthpark lol... I'll show you someday.

  • i think one of the best law players is just frame james, that guy is awesome.

  • @SILVERHAIREDDEMON yep he is really good, but u should also check out a dude called Malgu, he is just amazing

  • Whoop his ass steve.

  • This smelly Indian can't play for shit! Fuck this noob Law!

  • Nice match, good chains Nin playing as Steve Fox rules

  • Whoah, Tekken's graphics got gimped down a few notches,eh?

  • @Gnorconpro No, you forgot to choose "720p"

  • @xGALEXYx 720p doesn't change jack shit about these shitty graphics, seriously look at the 2nd stage, the background is obviously a 1 set canvas and the fighting plateau is even spinning independantly from the background -,-

  • @GuitarGasmProduction err yeah, thats the way you need to make it if you've got a 3D enviroment with no walls... ''BUT SOUL CALIBUR DOESNT HAVE WALLS AND STILL'' Omg, please dont say this. they've been using the crap technique since tekken 3. and its working.

  • @Twinkfactory1 no? that's not the way you need to make a no wall 3d enviroment

  • @GuitarGasmProduction i dont get this either, why dont they make the level just that large, if a fight takes so long that both players reach a tree in the background than its a different story, but no need for that rotating plateau

  • @xGALEXYx nah he's right, tekken 6's graphics, color palette and character model is shit like when tekken first came out in ps2..

but they fixed it already in tekken tag 2 ;)

  • thanks to my shit net i can only play ssf4 online -_- fuck

  • looks like nin is the guy to beat

  • nin is south korean right?

  • i didnt realize steve could pick people up off the ground with df+1,2,1 after breaking through the floor...thats good news

  • lol bully

  • I don't know anything about this game so don't take me seriously but the match doesn't look as profesional as it should

  • @ThePaulvera maybe because it was a pretty one sided fight. I get enjoyment out of just watching average players play online. But these 2 guys are no joke.

  • @ThePaulvera look boring coz you cant understand why they keep on poke each other and no super power. Believe me, you have to play to understand why this game is the best fighting game

  • that was pure ownage

  • @danielconde001 the punch parry KO in the last match was sweet

  • Lee sucks but Jack-6 or Asuka is good!

  • why they never use special moves? is there some reason for that? just curiosity

  • @Yamaneko81 like street fighter special moves? They're playing the way Tekken should be played, with juggles and combo's into walls/ground breaks

  • @Aukmaud not that kind of special moves i mean for example king got a chain of wrestling locks law got his uppercut kick similar to guile's

  • @Yamaneko81 pro gamers can read your special move. and it will coz u a half life bar

  • Thank goodness i finally found these. I'm tired of watching all of the brokeness and absurdity that happens in SFIV and MvC3

  • Of course you were aimlesfez...lol

  • I was definitely better than those guys when I played tekken 2.... that was 10 years ago, :D

  • Rip, GM(Lee player), and JFJ are the only American players i can respect. the rest are all bob players -_-. Bob mirror match at the grand finals this turned me way off

  • @OverKiiiillll thats really all evo 2011 was anyways. GM im training with for tag 2 and we agreed that he'd have jack as his 2nd guy :3

Besides did you notice that there were NO KOREANS at evo this year?

  • @marmax321 you personally train with FightingGM? i really hopeLee is his main because his Lee is pretty good.

  • @OverKiiiillll on certain weekends yes :D

Lee is always gonna be his main! He recently won 2 tourneys in VA with him. So because he played jack back in tekken 5, we both thought itd be pretty neat to have him as his backup. Speed+reach=danger

  • @OverKiiiillll They toned Bob down in TTT2 so you don't have to worry about Bob being overpowered.

  • @trellascales very good to know. i just dont want to see him at evo 2012 and beyond >.>

  • Horrible commentators !

  • I'd love someone to teach me how to juggle playing as Jin

  • @hideki12345 Do u play on xbl or psn

  • @JIX9ISLER1986

hey man, havent touched online matches yet, but I got some nice Juggles down with Jin and Lars already :D I play 360 btw

  • Guard damage off? is this Grand Finals?

  • @MegaGummyBeary Tekken has no guard damage.

  • @trellascales Of course it has why my psp have guard damage?

  • @MegaGummyBeary Because you turned it on. The default settings is off.

  • @MegaGummyBeary If don't turn it on the wont end you just keep guarding..... Ill stop replying this turning to a chat box :P

  • who is da best PLAYER WID HWO IN UNIVERSE.??
