Did any one else have glitchy controls with the night stages where you lightly tap the joy stick and the were hog goes running off the edge as that always happened to me. So I had other people try it and they had the same problem so I'm not sure if its something wrong with the disc or my wii or if its just the game in general

@peddle1993 I never had it with mine. If anything, mine was somewhat unresponsive at times. I believe it might be the controller. Or the Wii. Not sure. But it's more likely to be the controller than anything else.

don't forget that you can use the classic gamecube controller for the wii version. I'm pretty sure.

I got the Wii version yesterday. The werehog levels are much easier to play with the GameCube controller and makes the pole climbing seem less of a gimmick. Combat's also easier with it as well, seeing that you don't have to wave the Wii remote and nunchuk in the air like you're boxing.

the last time a sonic game that I remember that had a rail shooter in it was Sonic Adventure so I think Sonic Team was trying to recreate that I'd actually want them to redo Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 it would be really cool and popular now he (Sonic) has more fans

I have the Wii version, it's pretty fun. The day stages are great and the Werehog levels are decent, too...as long as you're using the Gamecube/Classic contoller. My only real gripe is that platforming as the Werehog can be troublesome at times.

Swag, how much of this game did you actually play? That rail-shooter part isn't actually a gameplay element, it's just one minigame. Near the end of the game there's another one, but that's it.

dark sonic ruins the game with repetitive platforming with battles that are no fun. the monsters are all pretty much the same, and the music that plays when you encounter an enemy makes you want 2 cut yer ears off. the jumping sometimes forces u to be off, causing a quick death. The camera is also barely controllable.

The majority of da game is a total failure. They shouldve based the game off of da 1st level 4 it 2 be successful.

i have the wii version and the 360 version. the wii verison is not bad but not good compared to xbox 360. the hub worlds in 360 are fine because you NEVER have to talk to anyone besides one person in spagonia.

The 360 version would have been good if it wasn't for the medal system. This is Sonic Unleashed not Super Mario Galaxy. What may work for Mario does not work with Sonic. This is why I prefer the Nintendo version of the game over the 360.

Yeah, they seemed to have really improved the camera problems from past 3D Sonic games with a "smooth transition from 2D to 3D"

But there seems to be a lot more enemies in the xbox version

The transaction between 3D and 2D is niiiiiice. Very impressive sega. The werehog levels seem pretty bland, that part could have been done much better. It also doesn't seem right to see Sonic without attacking with speed.

As a "Genesis-Kid" I have to say: finaly a Sonic game that looks stunning! Well at least the normal part where he is running the other seems to be just a patchwork. The stages look so great! Umm, you should have mentioned that you don't need to use motion controls at all. You can use the gamecube controller, and it plays just fine with it. No stupid wiggle controls at all.

Well, there were other games before Sands of Time that had a lot of the same elements, such as Mario 64. As far as recent games go though, yeah it seems very reminiscent of Prince of Persia.
