Awesome footage. A lot of the on board footage was on Amtraks "San Diegan" I would guess as well as a shot of people boarding a GO train. Still, this is pretty kick ass.

A lot changed since this video came out. The line to Santa Clarita was extended to Lancaster, the Ventura line was extended to Montalvo, the Hemet line was discontinued, Coaster took over the system south of Oceanside, the Blue Line's Pasadena branch became the Gold Line.

Nice, but at 4:07 when the guy says the trains will be as long as 10 cars, YEAH RIGHT!!!! 10 cars are more like the GO train in Canada, Metrolink's trains are usually 3 to 5 cars long.

haha yah i know we have alot more riders here but the towns the trains go to and come from are smaller..i dont get it lol. like LA is alot bigger then Toronto. and Barrie has like..150 000 ppl lol but yet theres still 10+ car trains. :P they are usually full though so idk.

@WetDirtProductions GO moves something crazy like 300,000 people a day. Metrolink is only around 43,000 per day. People in LA still love sitting on the freeway lol
