  • i love Hot Space!

  • This song/album is what got me into Queen. I love it. Then when I got all their other albums - I realized how truly amazing they relly were.

  • freddie always had staying power and always will best band ever

  • Without-horn version...amazing!!

  • harmonies are actually a bit dissonant! very unique for queen

  • much tighter version than original!

  • Underrated song, underrated album

  • @Maor255 I definitely agree with you.

  • HIS SOUND LIKE SINGING IN THE BOX...

  • I would have killed to have heard this version back in 82!!!!! Maaaaaam!!!!!

  • I remember buyng this album on summer 82. and my disappointment at its 'disco sound'. and how I later discovered it was a real masterpiece from musical genius, full of musical invention and singing abilities

  • I love how queen has the ability to change genre and make it sound better then the actual artists

  • brilliant album from the greatest band its so different u cant get bored listenin 2 queen u get somethin new every album:)

  • it's your opinion, but for myself, it's a very interesting way, not far from the LP version.

  • the live version is better

  • i agree that the live version is better. the guitar work really stands out.

  • The guitar solo should must certainly have stayed in the finished version IMHO

  • that's better than the final version because this is without the sinth parts.

excuse me for my english(i'm italian)

  • basika kalisperasas.....stathis psaltis

  • One of the best songs ever made!

  • Oh! I'M SORRY!

RETCHID ALBUM FORM A GREAT BAND

  • Oh my gosh, I'd forgotten about this song! It is atypical of their other songs, but it's still great!

  • your`ll right i must dig my old records an play them LOUD, love this "disco" sound of queen. see ya...

  • At 1:25 it sounds like he says "Let's get John"

  • he said let's catch on ... to the groove

  • I think your right but i always did think that the lyric was "lets get John to the groove"

  • well the lyrics say wht they say but wht if it slike multi trackd and its like Deacon cant dance another demo and thts like the reference LOL! i dont no

  • Great song!! Now that I call the 80s

  • i love this song

its very different from other queen songs

  • 2:14-2:21

    Freddie the best!!!

  • I love this :) Alot better than the opera-like orgies they did in the 70s! But that's just me ^^

  • Very googd

  • nice song...haha the synth reminds me of ghostbusters..almost as much as the synth in the invisible man xD

  • Welcome to the 80s! lol

  • haha yeah..the music's era of rapage

  • Love the Oberheim!

  • uhhhh ahhhh ckiqks exellents quenn for ever.

  • From today's perspective "Hot Space" is not at all that scary, because now we know that it's just a "flirt" with funk/disco sounds, not a sing they will abandon rock for disco or something, but you can imagine what the fans were thinking when they heard it for the first time. It was like "WTF?" Are you kidding me? I've bought a Queen album, not a Michael Jackson album!

  • This, Las Palabras de Amore and Under Pressure are the only good songs from Hot Space

  • Surely you're not forgetting "Put Out The Fire" and "Life Is Real"(Song for Lennon)?! Both of those are strong Hot Space cuts!

  • AMAAAAZING!!!!

  • love the attention the drums get

  • Queen debulha de qualquer jeito!

    QUEEN ROCKS!!!!!

  • a lot of people disliked Hotspace when it came out. I thought it was terrific, showed how versatile Queen were.

  • Damn Right!

  • why do ppl dislike Hot Space?

its not always rock, theres other genres like this one.

  • Agreed. Earlier Queen albums had flirtations with non-rock. Just look at "Bring Back That Leroy Brown" and "Seaside Rendezvous" and "Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon" as proof.

  • Smoooooooooooth Companyyyyyyyyy... Freakin awesome, thanks again Fuller! This makes me reconsider if the glossy brass section is or is not necessary...

  • Pity that they threw out the line "Let's make contact" 'cos it sounded pretty cool and funky. It wasn't necessary...

  • You BEAUTY!!!!!!!!

Great stuff, mate. Keep it coming!

  • thanks thanks!!!!

  • Very near to the final version.

  • Hot Space was years ahead of its time

Thanks David, Ive heard of this version but never heard it. This is part of history!

  • I think Queen was ahead of it's time!!!

  • Not my favourite album, but after buying the Milton Keynes concert I see it under a different light. Thanks David for posting
