U cant compare buckethead and paul gilbert because they are completely different. They are both my favorite guitarists. Paul plays technical things way better and melodic than buckethead, thats why i listen to paul when im in the mood for that type of music. However buckethead makes some of the most beautiful music ive ever heard! Its incredible how much feel he can put into his playing, so please dont say hes crap. The 2 cant be compared thats all, they are completely different:)

If you've listened to alot of buckethead and gilbert ull see that buckethead sticks to his experimental area and plays alot of different genres, paul sticks to more rock n roll. Not saying paul cant master different genres because he does that very well. They do have some similar licks tho.

I would like to know what you think of the tracks i just mentioned, you have to agree those are beautifull tracks that you didnt expect from him ;) There something for everyone under that Bucket..from jazz, to metal & blues..and soothing ambient...i dont know any other player alive today who is more versatile than Buckethead....im no fanboy here, its just my opinion after years of listing to all the other players ;)
