Down 2-0 now the best thing the Brewers can do is jump start talks with CC and his agent and hopefully lock this guy up for next year. Forget about Sheets and direct all your attention to CC. I like the Brewers hitters, they're young and very talented. The Brewers are headed in the right direction, they need to concentrate on re-signing CC and try to land at least two more arms. I think Ben Sheets needs a fresh start someplace else, maybe a sign and trade deal with him would help. If the Brewers can improve their pitching, Brewers fans will have some great years ahead.

While I agree for the most part, being a huge brewer fan I must throw out there that our starter for game 1 will be Yovani Gallardo. Yovani has a 1.85 ERA in 4 starts this year and a 3.35 Career ERA. Of course it's always a huge risk coming off of a major ACL tear like he did; he looked better than before his injury on his last start on Friday. He was throwing 95 and spotting his pitches. He didn't even throw 95 before the injury.

I think we're both saying the same thing here!! The Brewers need to roll out CC for at least 3 of the 5 games and we all know that can't happen. The key here is Ben Sheets!! Will he Step up? Will he Show Up? And will he Compete!! The Brewers have the Bats to compete with the Phillies, they may have the best young line-up in the GAME!! Pitching is their key to success!

CC will pitch two games if they can make it to the fifth game. Otherwise it's up to Bush and Gallardo to notch a win or two. Sheets sadly was left off the playoff roster; it was finally admitted that he actually had a torn muscle in his arm that he had been pitching through.

At any rate, 2 hours until game time and it's time to get ready!!
