  • awsome moment 2:20

  • Yes Waters Sings it better

  • love the way gilmour sings traaaaaiiiin

  • That tone makes me want to jump through a glass window onto barbed wire.

  • Thanks for uploading,amazing version!

  • @thesimguy1905 My pleasure! Thanks too

  • @Semente200 yeeeahh!!!! thanks =)

  • @thesimguy1905 . great solo...thanks for the version

  • I still remember this night, afterwards I got stoned with the band backstage and ended up jamming with Dave Gilmour, Roy Harper and Jimmy Page who was there also, Page told me I was the best guitarist that night and Gilmour agreed! What a night! Pink Floyd werent bad either haha

  • @whangie1 Man, what an experience!!!! Jamming with Gilmour and Page!

  • @Semente200 Oh it was man it was! It was me who showed him the riff for Kashmir and he used it, made a bunch of money off my talent but hey ho thats life innit matey.

  • @whangie1 Hold on a second, on your channel you say you´re 35 years old, so on the evening of this gig you were 1 year old.

  • @Semente200 Yes I was a child prodigy you see.

  • @whangie1 With so much prodigy why lie, then?

  • @Semente200 It was a joke, I thought I made that obvious man. I was making it as silly and far-fetched as possible. I didnt seriously expect anyone to believe a one year old baby jammed with and out-played Jimmy Page and Dave Gilmour. Actually I'm a fairly average guitar player.

  • @whangie1 i didn't believe because a baby can't puff a joint

  • @antraxptpt You know that was a major hole in my story, I really didnt think that one through enough lol.

  • @whangie1 trololo

  • @SolidLittle No. I'm just having a laugh.

  • @whangie1 Yeah your a really funny guy. Ha.

  • @whangie1 most still be stoned

  • @GiaBlasco12 This is Roger Waters singing.

  • Is there Roy Harper or Roger Waters singing here?

  • @GiaBlasco12 It's David and Roger

  • the picture at 3:07, mason looks like joe walsh with dark hair...

  • first time hearing it, and one word can sum up what I think of this; Sweet

  • wow 1 dislike

  • the band's more righteous of all the damn time

  • Hell Yeah. Roger Is The Right Singer For This Song !

  • 93 cervejas e uma bala ahahah

  • wow

  • who else can't wait for the experience versions coming out this fall?

  • @happyface4444 I am going to get DSOTM Immersion set and possibly Immersion set of WYWH. If i have the money for the Wish you Were Here set in Nov. The experience versions do look nice though. I have been waiting for some official good old live shows to come out. We will get remastered sound. Personally think the original live tapes should be left alone if they are in good shape.

  • @happyface4444 I can't.I am getting DSOTM Immersion for sure. If I have the money I will get Wish you were Here Immersion set. Nice to see the albums remastered even though I have heard most of the original recordings on records, and the 1994 CD remasters for years.

  • @happyface4444

absolutely, I'm getting the three Immersion box sets ...even though I'll have to wait a little longer for the wall immersion box, cause it's scheluded to come out not before February 2012....

  • nice man titties gilmour, hahahaha

  • That one picture looks like "Let It Be."

  • Oh by the way, which one's Pink?

  • @ItIsYourMom if that's the question, there was no guy named "pink" in the band, they named themselves after two bluesmen, Pink and Floyd.

  • @koala381 - lyrics

  • @ItIsYourMom just got it ^__^

  • @koala381 - lyrics

  • @koala381 amen to that and they rule,,,so progressive for their time,,,and btw,,,Gilmour was so so smoking hot!

  • @ItIsYourMom Roger Waters is Pink.

  • This sounds a lot like the recording made at Boston Gardens in 1975. That was a great tour. They played an early version of "Sheep" called "Raving and Drooling," too.

  • 4:56 seems like somebody pulled the lead of ur headphones out, by the time u reach the end, it laughs at you...!! :D shit RESPECT..!!

  • why do people spew so much hate over the internet. especially on a pink floyd video--the best kind.

  • @Kolbrun44 because they're fucking stupid and would rather hack at each others' throats than try to communicate.

  • I really really like David and Roger's shared vocal in this!

I love Roy Harper on the album but having the real Pink Floyd sing it would have been awesome.

  • Interesting that Dave is helping Roger with the vocals live, but refused to sing lead when someone suggested it as they were recording in the studio because he didn't relate to the lyrics. Roger secretly wanted to do the lead in the studio version and threw out Roy Harper's name, hoping that everyone would just say "no, you do it Roger". It backfired on him, because the rest of the band felt having Roy sing was a great idea.

  • I just love Pink Floyd. Waters did this track live in Las Vegas in 2007, and it absolutely KILLED!!! But I would have loved to see the Floyd perform this, with Gilmour, Wright, and Mason intact!

  • Adoro Pink Floyd, mas ue bosta!!! Nesse dia o Roger está com preguiça de cantar e o Gilmor de tocar. Versão muito pobre comparando com a original..

  • They should have let Syd do the vocal on this the famous day he came to visit his old bandmates during the "wish you were here" sessions.

  • @ureadmymind

He's doing the lower harmony, and its good. Not to mention he's doing the grovyyyyy traaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin part also

  • I think David should have let Roger sing this by himself.

  • @ureadmymind No way. Especially on the CD. They needed a really sinister voice like Harper on the record.

  • @SamTalmadge They should have let Syd do it with Wright singing backing vocals just like them good old days. Astronomy Dominae I am thinking. See Emily Play I am thinking.

  • @DaveS12382 Dude, if Syd were still around in 75, bless is soul, but they wouldn't be putting out deep and conceptually complex music. They would still be writing about dwarves, and planets, and bikes.

  • @SamTalmadge mmm, I beg to differ sir. There was a day during "wish you here" sessions where Mr. Barrett payed a visit to his old band. Allegedly they didn't recognize him at first as he had gained lots of weight. Dave and Roger were in tears and they played "Shine on" for him and his response was "Sounds a bit old" Also he said "right, so when do I do my guitar part?" You see, he wanted to contribute and if they let him do "Have a Cigar" as a one off that would have been off the fucking scale.

  • @DaveS12382 I know the story. Regardless, Syd would still produce the same "Psychedelic Noodling" they did in 67

  • @SamTalmadge bad form. Syd created Pink Floyd as you know it, the fact he became a liability and was booted out was mainly due to Roger Waters (Who I"m seeing perform "The Wall" Oct. 3rd in Boston.) But undeniably Syd started Pink Floyd and was a genius. Calling his work "Psychedelic noodling" is a fucking insult considering he was the one who wanted singles in the first place and the Floyd simply continued on his overall theme. And then they sang all about his personal life, just great.

  • @DaveS12382 No. Syd was mentally ill and used LSD A LOT. That's why. Dude. He wrote about Gomes. He wrote songs about Bikes. I respect Syd. By the way. David Gilmour said "Psychedelic Noodling"

  • @SamTalmadge Yeah and Roger Waters wrote about Syds mental illness. He wrote songs about war. so what. Quite clearly you are jealous of me and the fact I purchased pretty nice tickets and am going to see Roger Waters perform "The Wall" live Oct.3rd.

  • @DaveS12382 Wow. You are obviously the most arrogant and gloated person here. "Oh look at me. I've got tickets to see Roger Waters." Some people can't. Shut the hell up and don't try to succeed in an argument by flaunting tickets. Grow up. By the way, so do I, but I wouldn't go around bragging.

  • @SamTalmadge where are you going to see Waters?

  • @DaveS12382 Way to change the topic. Hartford.

  • @SamTalmadge Conecticut. Don't know if thats before or after he plays Boston. I probably have better seats than you.

  • @DaveS12382 Good for you. You obviously still can't identify that dwelling on things you purchase indicates that you have nothing else. Arrogant asshole.

  • @SamTalmadge It's nice to have nice things, and its not arrogant to be proud or happy about attending a concert the likes and scale of which has not been seen for 30 yrs. Cheer the fuck up, you're going too you glum sonofabitch. You are clearly still upset over the fact that my Pink Floyd/Barrett knowledge I demonstated was superior to yours, and you were unable to prove me wrong. Theres a new fucking king of the hill bitch. You can't piss in the straw with the big dogs unless you got the goods.

  • @DaveS12382 So you're saying that flaunting nice things to other people to prove your "superiority" and make them feel bad is okay. I see. Grow up.

  • @SamTalmadge of course. in fact society runs on it but forget about the "other people" part for a minute, the most important thing for a posession is that you yourself admire and love it. Other people have nothing at all to deal with this part of it. Theres nothing to "grow up" over since its all about you. Their opinion or feelings would be completely irrelevant in this case.

  • @DaveS12382 I'm sorry, but there is no way around it. Making other people feel bad because they don't have the luck or money to go is wrong. Yes, you need to grow up.

  • @SamTalmadge now you're back on the tickets thing. I was talking about posessions or having nice things in general and when I was talking about tickets earlier I was talking specifically to you. so don't grow up, in fact regress and be as selfish, imature, greedy, depraved, and pervereted as you like. That is my advice TO YOU and good day to you sir. I SAID GOOD DAY!!!

  • @DaveS12382 you're such an asshole. I hope you don't die early man so u can sufferer as much as many ppl unfortunatly do. You're a fucking kid that doesn't know what life is. Long live to you

  • @Fl0yDyan I'm 28, hardly a kid. And I guarantee I've lived a fuller life and experienced a lot more than you can imagine. And I've already suffered severely and dealt with more issues than I guarantee you, and most white, middle class people have dealt with. You don't even know me, you read some month old comment where I was fucking with some kid about Pink Floyd and life in general and then send me some hateful bullshit comment stating you hope I live a long, suffering life. Now Thats fucked up

  • @DaveS12382 I read the comments. And you acted like a selfish kid, that's why I told you that. :)

  • @Fl0yDyan I think deep down inside of all of us, theres just a greedy selfish kid. And do you know what you're acting like? A self rightcheous pompous motherfucker. Maybe thats inside all of too, but you fucking ooze it pal.

  • @DaveS12382 Well sorry...but you really really seem like a true asshole...and I think that only you have that greedy selfish kid on the outside...because youre acting like a full time douche..and hey..only because you can quote wikipedia doesnt mean you know shit about pink floyd

  • @Besherk oh Fl0ydyan, you morphed into another youtube user.

  • @DaveS12382 Actually, no. Lol maybe deep inside all of us exists PARANOIA ahah

  • @Fl0yDyan It was a joke, calm down. But I agree. Theres a lot of ugly bad and scary things down deep inside. I think there can be good things too, but thats where the bad things hide.

  • @DaveS12382 Well I and the world would be happy if you kept those things inside if what you have showed now is on the outside...and no...im not that other guy..I just saw that conversation and got frustrated

  • @DaveS12382 Dude, you started to act like a delusional airhead after some guy said that modern Pink Floyd is better than the Syd era, you flaunted your tickets, and said how you knowledge was superior (you quoted Wikipedia... soo smart). Then you went on a rant about how you're better than them or something... What you have done is fabricated these people as enemies and wrong in your mind, when in reality they were only pointing out how delusional and hostile you were acting. So just chill man..

  • @Lockjaw95 I'd say that just about sums it up.

  • @DaveS12382 fuck you

  • Comment removed

  • Too bad it cuts out at around the 4:56 mark before the song is over.

  • "Have a cigar" is over at that point, it´s an abrupt cut because the cd track changes

  • @Semente200

    whats the next song,then?

  • That's the most beautiful version of this song. I also heard Oakland bootleg but was worse. Thank you.

  • crackin version floyd r uniquely the best .....
