  • I liked this song, raise your.hand.

  • The classroom set is the same set for the school segment for Listen To The Bells 'cause I recognize the drawings on the wall of the set.

  • i wanna touch that guys yellow hair (raise your hand)

  • @2kreepy He's called Little Chrissy :) His hair is indeed cool!

  • Possibly the greatest song ever written....

  • Sesame Street is my all time favorite program! I learned a lot from it as a kid. It prepared me for school and beyond.

  • How come people talk about how Pink Floyd and bands like that must be on drugs to write some of their songs? Whoever writes songs like this one MUST be on drugs...and some very powerful ones at that.

  • teach looks like jack black

  • wow! i haven't seen this clip since i was about 5 years old. i'm 26 now. thank you much for bringing me way back to my childhood and for this post.

  • LOL! i remember this

  • One of my all time faves!

  • It would be fun to use this song in a kindergarten or preschool classroom to introduce hand raising procedures. The song is fun and catchy. I think younger students would respond well to it.

  • I've been looking for the cartoon sketch when a white boy hangs out with his Latino friend and sees how different everything is from what he's used to, and his friend's mother gives the two boys fried bananas for a snack. Does anyone have that sketch, or know where I can find it?

  • It's really a shame that today's kids need to grow up with Pokemon, and X-Men, and Ben 10, and all the other odd figures. THIS here was pure art, very dedactic and educational. I'm glad, proud and blessed of havin been brought up in those "good old days". Sesame Street rocks!

  • finally u uploaded it!!! =]

  • Oh man I remember this!

  • Epic

  • woo hoo! this song just brighten up my day :) !

  • Genious puppeteers made this possible 8o)#

  • Nice! I love how they use a motown-style for this song. Definitely from the 1980s. It seems familiar from my childhood.

  • @princess7strawberry how can you tell it's motown?

  • @Batou3 I've taken many music appreciation classes that covered this material. Motown, the record label founded by Berry Gordy during the 60s, style influenced by R&B, soul, & pop. Primarily African American artists. Taught how to sing, act, dance, & dress in a mannerism that helped defined the style. Basically think of it as African Americans making their own white pop music. A few notable artists: Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, & The Jackson 5. The song fits this description.

  • @princess7strawberry hmm. i guess the professional has my support

  • @Batou3 Thank you. I did my best to describe. I hope it helped.

  • @princess7strawberry Actually this is a Parody of Blue Moon.

  • @Jessyleppert ... Which is by doo-wop group The Marcels. 1961, same era.

  • @princess7strawberry

    80's?

    lmao 60's....

  • @tofik074c Yes, 60s-style, but it's from the 80s.

  • I remember this from when I was younger...this was from the 80's for sure...what song are they doing a parody of? I know I've heard it before. It's from the 50's or early 60's. Anyone?

  • Is this supposed to be a parody of Life Could Be a Dream? I wondered about that ever since I saw Cars.

  • im lovin the teachers hair.. super cool

  • I sure wouldn't mind having Little Chrissy as my teacher. :D

  • that looks alot like the mahnamahna puppet

  • 1:41 he says " radiohead radiohead " xD

  • This was my favorite when I was little.

  • I've said it many times before, but I'll say it again. Sesame Street prepared me for college.

  • Hell, it prepared me for life!

  • What year is this from??? 1980's?

  • Probably from 1983.
