The new testament teaching is free will giving., tithing is legalistic.

indeed there is corruption in the church because it is made up of people...sinners... my church doesnt force me to tithe nor does it manipulate the scripture.. no i have a great understanding of the fact that i deserve nothing yet God has given me everything. if not 10 percent i would like to give Him my all but i do believe that God wants us to live our lives but does ask for a small fraction. i am more than willing to do so.
