actually "allah" was the arabic name for "El" which was the name of the god of the jews used in the canaanite pantheon.

Of course no evidence. Tiny pieces of history here and thee for Jesus (he is mentioned in some Roman documentation, too). First Qur'an was publish in the 9th century (or later, I think). That's why the various creeds are called BELIEF-SYSTEMS. It would be helpful if all the followers - muslim,christian - would bear that in mind, instead of claiming absolute truth.
Then we could talk about the great (or smaller) symbols each religion has to contribute to mankind...

This is bias to Islam and Hebrew faiths. The Ancient Egyptian civilization was no worse than any other government civilization. Slaves in America were treated worse than the Egyptian counterparts. Moses was Mehy first son of seti I he was Egyptian and lost his right to rule as king to rameses II. Amen has nothing to do with Amen-Ra (also spelled Amun-Ra). Just because two words sound alike does not mean they are related. Egyptologists say that "Amen" or "Amun" comes from an Egyptian root that means "hidden." But "amen" is from a Hebrew root that means "to be firm, trustworthy, faithful, sure." As a prayer formula, it means "surely," or "so be it."
It is also interesting that in the Lord's Prayer as found in the Bible's Greek text, "Amen" is not a part of it.

Yet, in the Greek text Christ is called THE Amen in (Rev. 3:14). Amen, Hamen, Hamon, Y(e)men, Amon, Amun, Imnn, Amn, Imn all have to do with the God Name Amen. The hebrew written language has it's root in the Egyptian Hierogyphics. The Temple of Amen had temples that streched from Egypt into Byblos Syria. They ruled that whole area from the 12th dynasty till the 21st dynasty, with a few periods of rebellion.
