It seemed more and more as I played, I wanted mages to die because I considered them weak-willed and a threat. By the end, I decided to replay in favor of the Templars out of spite, because I was sick of the mages hypocrisy and bullshit.
@DarthVengent Maybe, but like you can make Hawke say, mages aren't the only ones that lie and seek power, i didn't slaughter the circle because they had nothing to do with the Grand Cleric's death and Meredith used it as a pathetic excuse for murder, there are abuses on both sides thanks to the Chantry misinterpretating Andraste and acting as if they speak in the Maker's name, as if they were the enbodiment of the Maker's will, the Chantry should've worked to prevent abuses from both sides.

I always will have an affinity towards Alistair, but I decided to experiment while Zevran's romance option was available to me still. So, my character slept with Alistair, then Zevran, and Alisair questioned her feelings towards Zevran. I chose him instead, and Alistair received a -100, resetting him back to 0. :L

Even when I went out of my way to be a bitch toward him I never got this. Thank god. As much fun as it is to be the antagonist sometimes, I don't know if I could handle this scene. I love him too much, and this is heartbreaking.
Alistair and sten are by far my favourites of the companions, not nessecarily the most useful but they're the most fun and satisfying to interact with

Only thing Dragon Age had over Mass Effect was how much the characters talked to each other, especially Morrigans and Alistairs.
Also, the Romance seemed to have more content and last longer. In ME2, you only had like 3 different levels in the romance.

@Nvr4Givn This happened to me on my first playthrough. I did try to be nice to him at first but it was too hard and I got impatient. I did everything I could to insult him and do evil acts. After I killed Brother Genetivi, I got this. I thought I got this for killing Genetivi but later realised it was because his approval dropped to -100

Do you need to have his approval all the way down or just low? In a playthrough I just did his was very low but I never got this scene.
