I will have the money soon to do some serious mods to my TL1000R. Some advice please.. Ive heard v-twins are better supercharged than turbo.. ? as the exhausts are so far apart. Any ideas? Nice bike!
Supercharger is better IMO with twins. Exhausts are far between and getting the pulses from the exhaust gases to tune with intake is hard and takes alot of time.
I'v raced booth the TL's and Aprilla's on the track, and I would rather have your TL any day of the week. I'm not a huge V-twin fan exept for the TL and RVT.
I just dyno'd it with 0.3 bar at top rev and it produces 16hp more than stock, with very lean mixture. I have made a new pulley for the engine and expect 0.65bar at toprev........hp gain is 45-65 over stock.....I hope...vid will come as soon as I have dyno'd the bike.

Will you need an uprated clutch to avoid slippage ? There's nothing worse than soaring revs that don't get to the back wheel properly.
