In Season 1, Kristina said she slept with her clients' spouses just for fun or something like that. And they want us to believe Jane fell for a slut like that? At least make the story believable; she represents everything that he's against, so why did it have to be her? The writers (and Heller) should get their act together in Season 3; this was a horrible season finale.

@eternallight1 It's because of her intelligence and her similarity to Jane, which is all a setup for when they find out that Red John IS Kristina Frye. Seriously, the scene where Red John shows up... if she lowers her voice a register, the inflections are the same. I think it's really just for horror's sake--the realization that all along, his antagonistic "love interest" is the woman who *killed his family.*

theres parts where Kristina is all right and i kind of like her (please don't kill me) and then there is parts where i hate her and want her to die. but i think the writers might have brought her in for RJ because it seems as if she is one of his minions and if Jane likes her then it'll make for a better story line and make his hatred for RJ even more intense. and i will be glad if that does happen because Jane will eventually get over her and there'll be mor Jisbon time. :)
