Sadly, Brandt threw away the Easter Terrritories, betraying the hopes of 14 million people who wanted to return to their homes. This act also desecrated the memory of the 2 million murdered by the soviets in this region, who still lay in mass unmarked graves.

Ah, Helmut Kohl. His wife's life & death were tragic. Her suicide could be blamed on the ordeal she went through when she ran into Soviet Soldiers at the War's end.
