The last time I watched Fox and believed it was when I was 8 years old. They were discussing the possibility of the world ending in 1997 or 1998. Some stupid stuff I'm not sure what it was about. I believed it and was all upset.

I'm 21 now, and haven't watched Fox since; spare for the odd half hour here and there when I'm bored and want to watch some highly paid actors reading scripts written by Conservatives that are well... basically modern-day Nazi propagandists.

This isn't the FOX NEWS channel. It's a local channel news station (see the 7 in the bottom right, and the guy saying "we'll have it for you at 10" or whatever). It doesn't even have the FOX News logo in the bottom right. This is stupid.

I'm a news anchor, and read off of teleprompter daily.

I can tell you that if anyone on the air at this station made such an error, they wouldn't be on the air anymore.

This is a cheap, childish attempt by FOX to subliminally associate the two as having a commonality to inject fear into their viewers.

And anyone who can watch this garbage masquerading as news for more than an hour a year probably doesn't have the intelligence capacity to discern fact from fiction, anyhow.

So you admit its possible she would have made a mistake, but that you feel she would have been fired. Made she was fired or maybe her bosses are right leaning or a little more forgiving. But to say, with absolute certainty that theres no way she could have made a mistake is completely irrational.

@cmurdalol its called a slip. others have called obama as osama. most of us realize what a slip is and find it rather funny at times. our local news people do it all the time. noone gets fired over it! noone things the 2 are same, unless they are beyond stupid to not notice the difference in 2 completely seperate people. that happen to also be of different ethnic heritage lol. if you are a news "anchor" youd realize this. way to dumbass EPIC FAIL for you. noone is going to believe your crap!

@blackadm @cmurdalol Prime example of why the recognized, AP and Reuters spellings of "Osama Bin Laden", should have been changed to "Usama bin Laden" years ago... So that no one confuses Usama with Obama.

Swapping a U for an O isn't the problem. And I find it offensive that FOX assumes that everyone is as naive as their base to accept that this was an accident when it clearly wasn't an isolated incident. 6 tmes in one day including a graphic image. It was reiterated like a daily talking point.
