David Gray is a true artist. He has transcended the boundaries of the music/lyric lack of connection that most other entities have fallen victim to. He is able to write songs (with memorable chord structure) that have meaning to the masses. There is much content to his music, not just once but over and over. He is at least a Michelangelo in the world of painting pictures of one man's regret and remorse.
I like the video- but I think you shouldn't worry if you don't like it. I don't think it will last in your mind- but the song will. Let the song paint a deeper image for you and that will erase it.

One of my best Friends Clare died recently she was only 48 I feel choked up listening to song .... its bringing tears... but comfort ..this song.. I hope I meet her again..even when Im an old lady I will never forget her ....until we meet again Clare I love you x

I've just discovered the phenomenal talent that is David Gray; everything I've heard so far, tells me he is truly one of the greatest musicians of this decade. I'm so sorry for all that you're going through, tubes116. Remember, like the song, we'll all be together again someday.

David Gray is a true artist. He has transcended the boundaries of the music/lyric lack of connection that most other entities have fallen victim to. He is able to write songs (with memorable chord structure) that have meaning to the masses. There is much content to his music, not just once but over and over. He is at least a Michelangelo in the world of painting pictures of one man's regret and remorse.

I like the video- but I think you shouldn't worry if you don't like it. I don't think it will last in your mind- but the song will. Let the song paint a deeper image for you and that will erase it.

Yes it is one of those rare songs. I had songs like that when my father died- if this one had come out then it would have been one. My one was Don Williams' help yourself to each other which is funny because I am not a don williams fan.

mean--life or death?? where is the other side--heaven or hell??? I don't really like this song; and I really love all of David Gray's other songs. Not this one.
