@nupdawg It's true that Eric is a more well rounded, complex and strong character than Bill but it's obvious in the way that, at least on the surface, Alan Ball chooses to focus on Bill and Sookie's relationship as to that of Sookie and any of her other suitors. Already they've written off Eric and Sook's relationship and have her leaning towards Bill again even though it is completely out of character for her and opposite of the books. Great video, though, it made me cry!

He's very much more human because of those relationships, and while Bill is also complex he's also less... compelling, only because he's "young" and only infatuated with Sookie because of her blood.
