This was done by my friends older camera. It doesn't zoom in and it distorts sound. My other video-Thunderbolt 1000T Alert Attack 6 is 4/5 port, chopper level 3 recorded with my other camera. In real life they sound the same.

Back in 1997-1998 I was in twelfth grade, and I attended North High School which is a ten minute walk from this siren. Lunch break that year was from 12:45-1:15. I remember bringing my friends to hear it three times that year.

I have seen four federal 2001's in Minneapolis so far. I-94 near the Connevention Center, Washington Ave and 10th not far from the Metro dome (this one I don't think has ever gone off), 54 and Nicollet and there's another I can't seam to picture where, I have not seen that one since 2000. If I can get my hands on a old route 18 scheulde. I can pin point it or as a last resort I ll just have to bike over there. I know it'a South Minneapolis.

You are thinking of downtown Cincinnati were the T-Bolt 1000,and 1000T are two blocks away from each other.This siren is about 1mile from downtown Minneapolis,which has 2001s.

Holy!! i grew up in north Mpls!! so THIS is the dreaded low siren i heard ever since i was a kid!! i always wondered where this one was!!..i always used to think it was in robbinsdale for some odd reason...this siren would always scare the shit out of me and give me nightmared as a kid!!! good vid!!!!
