I used to have 2 pacu fish that BIG and 3 BIG oscars like those, when I was in work an electric power failure occured back home and my fish were running low in oxygen and the pacu fish didnt make it and I found them floating dead, but I still have the 3 oscars wich survived... luckily that I got home in time and saved the 3 remaining ones...
don't do it unless you have a huge tank 200+ gal and a nice quiet place to put it. I had a pacu for about 1 1/2 yrs i got him when he was 1" long and by the time i had to give him away because i didn't have the money to get him a bigger tank he was close to 1 1/2 feet. They are also very skiddish mine used to get startled and swim full speed into the wall, filter and anything else in his way and in doing so was always getting hurt (I went thru alot of melafix and stress coat)
weird cause i once bought a 2 inch baby pacu and i just 2 weeks it was already about 10 inches

mann put some of that water shining stuff from the pet store in there and thatll be one hel of a fish tank. it already kinda is though:D

no not at all my oscar pushes my pacu around all the time but the pacu gets huge and i wouldn't get one unless you have at least 120 gallons

wow the pacu is Huge n u have beautiful oscars but buddy u need to clean the tank.
the water looks dirty.
i hope the oscars dont try to mess with the giant pacu.
