I just finished the English dub in its entirety yesterday and I have to say, Akira is simply amazing in the English dub. Best vocal job in the entire series, if you ask me. I was also really fond of Yutaka & Konata, but Akira's the best in my eyes.

WOW O_O Usually I HATE english dubs. (not because I'm like the anime super freaks that r like if it's not japanese I hate it!!!) It's because if it's not a REALLY popular anime show the show get's stuck with horrible voice actors -cough- Higurashi -cough- and bad dubbing. But for these 2 characters the voice actors are perfect 4 them, well in my opinion anyway. Well that's all I have 2 say anyway thanks again 4 postin this vid.! ^_^

lol that was actually pretty good. I used to dislike dubs but this one was great. lol. I loved the bipolar Akira. The only thing that annoys me in dubs is when they add the Japanese honorifics like -san or -sama. but that's just me. lol. that was very enjoyable.

As for Akira's voice, I do like it. But, they toned down the happy voice and not-so-happy voice. That's really a pity since The original voice has such hilarious swiings in tone. It's not bad, but it's a bit of a let down.

I'm impressed! The translations were done pretty well, and now I finally understand this scene much better than when I watched the DVD with the subtitles on.

The voice actors arent' that bad either. I'm surprised that they are able to pull it off so nicely, like how Pokemon did. Akira still retains her split personality. Shirashi however, still needs a bit of work.

And By the way, guys, don't go "OMG MY EARS!". Just because it's not Japanese. You're expecting ALL audiences to watch Japanese?

I am deeply in love with this dub so far.

It reminds me of Full Metal Alchemist and Inuyasha, A great dub whos voices sound strangly reminicent of the japanese ones, the anime content is looking to be almost 100% of the original show and the voice talent does a great job.

This show joins the life of good dubs, along with Inuyasha, FMA, FLCL, Pokemon and a few others that i probably havn't watched yet..i heard Haruhi was good..

'Cause they can. Seriously, though, I think it adds a nice little touch to the show. Though that's only true when the setting is more or less inherently Japanese like LS or Naruto (which keeps sensei). Something like One Piece or Scrapped Princess (where, in the latter, the manga DOES keep suffixes) it looks incredibly odd/awkward.

But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
