I've operated a lot of Deere machines, and this is totally full of bullshit. The Bobcat S130 is perfectly able to go over a hump like that. Done it in a 463. Never thought I would see this from Deere. What a disappointment.

@hyperhips1 we have a deere 260 and a new holland ls17 i think the pedals on the JD are easyer to use but the new holland is great at moving snow..there both a good machine

The guy driving the Deere properly lowers his bucket at the top of the 5' berm. That helps to distribute more weight forward & helps hold the front down so he is able to make it over. I bet the other guy was told not to lower his bucket, knowing that would cause the machine to tip backward & not make it over the berm forward.

All my experiences of John Deere skid steer are slow & choppy controls, I do like their vertical lift door though. That's a sweet feature but for actual work with 7000 hours in Cat Skid steere's and about 1500 hours in Bobcat's every Deere I've happened accross from site to site has underperformed both Cat & Bobcat. Go back to the drawing boards. John Deere's rubber tire hoe's are amazing I'll give you that but the skid steeres need improving.

Well I sorta concure with your statment. I like American muscle. What I hate about John Deere is the control configurations. New Holland invented the strait up radius bucket thats why they look similar. The Holland is more user comfort and much faster,thus getting more work done. I have run em all. The Takauchi,spelling? is coming up as a good machine as well. With a track Takauchi I can push back a ten wheeler load no stall. I'm impressed.. They are comfortable as well,good precise controls.

Gehl track loaders are the best.....have ran bobcat and they are just as big of a peice of shit as a deere shidloader. Deere makes good excavators but their skidders are junk. Case used to be good until Gehl unveiled there CTL line of track loaders leaving all others behind. suspension seat, pilot controls, you can actually see everything 360 degress around you and their smallest track loader can handle a 1 yard bucket with ease.
